After stirring up fans with teaser artwork back in July, Aphex Twin’s long-awaited ‘Collapse’ EP has now arrived.
Opening with last month’s ‘T69 Collapse‘, the five-track project, the producer’s first studio work since 2016’s ‘Cheetah’, arrives across a multitude of formats – CD, cassette, vinyl and of course streaming.

Gorillaz have shared their new video for ‘Tranz’, the latest single from their recent record ‘The Now Now’.
Marking the band’s first ever live-performance video and only live performance since 2010’s unforgettable MTV EMA appearance, this eye-popping film sees Gorillaz vocalist 2D command the stage against a backdrop of mind-altering visuals alongside bandmates Noodle and Russel Hobbs, with Gangreen Gang’s Ace on bass standing in for the temporarily incarcerated Murdoc Niccals.

The 1975 have revealed ‘Sincerity Is Scary’ as the fourth single from their upcoming album ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’.
Premiered by Zane Lowe on his radio show on Apple’s Beats 1, the track continues on from previous album-cuts which include ‘Give Yourself A Try‘ and ‘TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME‘. The 15-song new album will arrive on 30th November.

Eminem has shared the video for his Joyner Lucas-featuring ‘Lucky You’.
Lifted off his surprise album ‘Kamikaze’, released earlier in the month, ‘Lucky You’ hears some of Em’s strongest bars in years – unsurprisingly the track has subsequently become one of the most successful offshoots from the new project, recently climbing to No.6 in the US Hot 100 charts.

Dizzee Rascal has released his anticipated ‘Don’t Gas Me’, less than a fortnight on from revealing the project’s lead single, the Skepta-featuring ‘Money Right‘.
Featuring a further four songs, ‘Don’t Gas Me’ sees additional appearances from P Money, Afronaut Zu and C Cane, and marks Dizzee’s first major studio recording since last year’s ‘Raskit’ LP.

Taking more of a mellow sonic approach than the track’s predecessor, ‘Empress’ hears Ray soar with a story about self-empowerment whilst focusing on finding the one that’s right for her versus any old ‘run of the mill’ partner.

Titled ‘Better’, the young R&B singer/producer’s latest jam continues the slew of new music that the 20 year-old has released over the past year, including ‘OTW’ and ‘Love Lies’, featuring Normani.

Mariah Carey has released her new single ‘GTFO’.
Teased yesterday, the track marks the pop icon’s first major release since her 2014 album ‘Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse’, and will come ahead of her forthcoming all-new project which will see her reunite with ‘Emancipation’ producer, Jermaine Dupri. ‘GTFO’ was produced by Nineteen85, with the song’s official video landing tomorrow (Friday 14th September).
Cited as a ‘buzz track’, the first official single from Mariah’s next album (which is due later this year), will be titled ‘With You’; it will be released on 5th October. In a press release, Mariah says “I wanted to give my fans and everyone a first listen that wasn’t so serious,” says Mariah in a press release. “I’ve had so much fun making this album, and I wanted the first moment to reflect that light-hearted spirit.”

It’s hard to believe that it’s been circling the web for over three years now, but finally ODESZA have given ‘Loyal’ the official release it truly deserves.
Having originally debuted during the US duo’s 2015 Coachella live set, the song has since achieved a cult following among fans thanks to it’s hard-hitting / big-room stature. And whilst ODESZA have equally been known as a pair of lads that deliver the emotional, and often soothing side of electronica, it could well be ‘Loyal’ that finally gives them the global recognition they truly deserve.
Oh, and the eagle-eared among you may also notice the song as the backing track for Apple’s recently-announced iPhone XS video.
