Two years on from the track’s original unveiling, Sam Smith has confirmed the re-release of Lay Me Down as the next single from his global smash debut collection In The Lonely Hour.
Left completely-untouched from the album version, Lay Me Down originally caught prominence of the blog-sphere way back at the start of 2013, when Smith shared an emotive acoustic video on his newly-formed YouTube channel. Fast-forward to 2015 and it seems right for Sam to once-again bring the track back into the global spotlight.
