Country music star Shania Twain will make her Glastonbury Festival debut later this summer, taking on the coveted ‘Legend’s slot’ on Sunday 30th June.
Following in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue, Barry Gibb and Dolly Parton – among others – Twain’s appearance follows on from her desire to play the Pyramid Stage, telling NME last year that “It’s on my wish list – absolutely… So I’ll make sure I do that. It’s a legendary thing, I know, but it’s on my wish list”.
The singer’s Worthy Farm performance falls midway during her recently-announced UK & Ireland tour, which sees her open in Belfast on 27th June, before concluding with a headline appearance at London’s BST Hyde Park on 7th July 2024.
