Missy Elliott will join Katy Perry during her halftime performance at this weekend’s Super Bowl, according to reports.
News site the Associated Press reports that Missy will join Perry onstage for a performance of her huge hit Work It, and follows Perry’s recent hit that an “old school” female singer will make an appearance.
“When you hear the first ring of the chord…. I think jaws will drop and faces will melt” said Perry last week.
**UPDATE** Online rumours are now circulating that Lenny Kravitz will also join Perry and Elliott on stage, though the track choice is unconfirmed! Capitol Records have confirmed that this is indeed true:
Super Bowl XLIX, which will also see appearances from John Legend and Idina Menzel will be streamed live globally this weekend (1st February).
