Electronics manufacturer Philips have further reignited their partnership with Noisey by releasing a new ‘Citiscape’ series of headphones, as part of their YNTHT collaboration.
YNTHT, an acronym of the two brands’ ‘You Need To Hear This’ campaign, was initially launched last year as a partnership highlighting artists pushing boundaries in terms of sound, and social influences, by pushing out exclusive new video content from both established artists alongside those more emerging in the scene.
Since the huge success of Beats over the past couple of years, headphones have become further aligned with fashion, with many opting for style over substance when it came to selecting their new purchases, however fortunately, the Cityscape range focuses high on both, alongside quality – from foldable headphones combined with mics and remote controls that work across devices (plus not forgetting impeccable sound quality and über-cool looks), the Citiscape range absolutely shows Philips’ determination to show they’re in the music-game for the long-term.
Plus, it’s not just personal headphones that are the fruition of the YNTHT partnership; both Philips and Noisey have also created sets focused on more professional/DJ usage (hurrah!), whilst there’s also some pretty-cool-looking wireless speakers in the extended range too.
