With just over a month to go until the original’s official release, Swiss deep-house producer Nora En Pure has unveiled his remix of Wretch 32’s new single, 6 Words.
The bass/progressive-hose reimagination of the track screams slight elements of My Nu Leng in its approach, though often lighter and more melodic in parts, whilst always ensuring the emotiveness of Wretch’s heartfelt lyrics are kept in the forefront.
A nice, if somewhat surprising addition to Wretch’s collection – whilst his new direction may not appeal to hardcore grime fans, we’re liking what Wretch 32 is doing, plus the fact he’s experimenting with future genres is also something to applaud.
