Last year, Giorgio Moroder shared Deja Vu, his first record in 23 years, and a project which sought to expand his support for disco-enthused pop throughout the decades.

Today, the Italian icon returns with his brand new single Good For Me, a tie-up with our very own Karen Harding, and what sets a prelude to new releases as he returns to Casablanca Records. “I am so excited to share new music with you and to work with the Casablanca family…..It just makes sense. It feels like home” he said.

Stream The xx’s exclusive BBC Maida Vale Studios set for Radio 1

The xx announced their return to the scene yesterday, revealing On Hold, the first single from their upcoming third studio album I See You.

In celebration, the trio took to BBC’s Maida Vale Studios to perform a special 30-minute set, which included the world’s first live outing of the new single, alongside previous releases Islands and Angels, among others. The xx also used the platform to chat with Annie Mac about the formation of I See You too.

On paper, this one probably shouldn’t work, however US duo Just Us have lifted a sample from Kate Bush’s Cloudbusting and twisted it into one of the most gorgeous house tracks we’ve heard in a while.

Pete Tong’s already shown Everytime It Rains some love, but tonight the joint received Annie Mac’s latest ‘Hottest Record’ moniker, and we couldn’t agree with that title more.

Donald Glover has announced the return of his Childish Gambino namesake as he preps the release of his third studio album Awaken, My Love.

Set to land early next month, the confirmation of the new project comes preceded by the rock/funk-influenced Me and Your Mama, a track premiered by Zane Lowe as his Beats 1 World Record (and subsequently spun 6 times in a row!).

Premiere: Feder – ‘Lordly’ (The Parakit Remix)

Parisian producer Feder certainly struck a chord when he teamed up with Alex Aiono on Lordly earlier this year; the track combined everything a modern-day ‘EDM’ jam asks for – subtle yet thumping whilst also vocal yet grooving in parts. Therefore it comes of no surprise that a full remix EP is on its way.

Set to land next Friday (18th November), the remix pakage features edits from The Parakit, TRXD and Wielki, as well as an instrumental version of the single, and it’s the former that we’re excited to premiere for you today.

Parisian-based The Parakit definitely throw a sharper focus toward the club-heads with their rework, hearing a greater emphasis on moulding the vocals with a more up-tempo, involving beat. In a time where both electronic dance and electronic house seem to be converging genres (whilst offering little new), The Parakit deliver with a fresh look at both elements of the scene that’s so ‘next level’ that it deserves to stand upon a pedestal against the rest.

Aquillio have announced details of their long-awaited debut album Silhouettes, alongside sharing the project’s latest single, Sorry.

Set to land early next year, Silhouettes will open with the collection’s title-track, released earlier this year, with a further 13-tracks (alongside past singles Never Seen You Get So Low and You Won’t Know Where You Stand). The album will also see credits from SOHN and Ólafur Arnalds.

Though Kygo’s Cloud 9 debut was up there as a solid first stab at a full-lengther, the Norweigian’s plus-point has always been his strength in remixing, and today he continues that theme by sharing his surprise rework of The Weeknd and Daft Punk’s Starboy.

Unveiled in the early hours, Kygo delivers an edit which remarkably steers away from his signature ‘tropical house’ sonics; instead keeping close to the original, albeit with a slight electronic ‘nip and tuck’ throughout (particularly around the chorus).

Starboy has never been a song which felt necessary of a remix, however Kygo’s trickery works well enough here for us to welcome a subtle rework into the spin. Grab a listen below:

AMP Lost & Found 2017: Line-up revealed

Annie Mac’s AMP Lost & Found Festival will return to Malta in 2017 for the third year running, with Annie herself releasing the initial line-up details moments ago during a live-stream.

From disco to house to grime to electronica, AMP has historically covered all the clubland genres, with 2017 keeping incredibly-close to that ethos.

Annie Mac will of course be playing a set for the first time since her return from maternity leave, whilst Jamie Jones, Armand Van Helden, My Nu Leng, Redlight, Giggs, Jackmaster, Skream, Dusky and Andy C also among those confirmed.

Tickets are set to go onsale tomorrow (11th November) over on the AMP website; Lost & Found 2017 runs 13-16th April.
