Ahead of her upcoming UK tour which kicks off on 3rd December in Manchester, Jorja Smith has unveiled Something In The Way, the first track from her soon-to-be released Project 11 EP.

Premiered as Annie Mac’s latest Radio 1 ‘Hottest Record’, Something In The Way further showcases the youngster’s gorgeous vocal prowess; being able to tell an emotive story with such sublime dialict is one of Jorja’s many plus-points, and this track, one of four new pieces of music on Project 11, further adds to the excitmenet toward an artist who may be one of our biggest exports in years to come.

Alicia Keys celebrates the release of her new Here LP by sharing the visuals for the A$AP Rocky-featuring Blended Family.

At a time where civil rights have been pushed ever-further into the forefront, the clip could not come at a more poignant time, where Alicia and A$AP celebrate not only multicultural families, but also those with differing sexualities too. Aside from the fact the song itself is more than wonderful, the positive message within the video is equally as welcome.

Stream A Tribe Called Quest’s final-ever album

A fortnight on from the initial teaser announcement, A Tribe Called Quest have unveiled their sixth studio record We Got It From Here, Thank You 4 Your Service, their first in 18 years and a project confirmed to be their final studio outing.

Featuring Busta Rhymes and Kendrick Lamar (among many others), the new record also serves as a tribute to Tribe’s Phife Dawg, whose tragic death earlier this year sparked mourning within the hip-hop world – the remaining members released the album in honour of their friend, noted as one of the music greats, and whose work spans influences toward the likes of Common, Kanye West and Jill Scott.

Glastonbury 2017: Red Hot Chili Peppers ruled out

Red Hot Chili Peppers have expanded their run of US and Canadian 2017 dates, ruling them out of an appearance at next year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Announced earlier this week, the new dates will see the Chilis hit Ontario and Michigan across the Glastonbury weekend (itself which runs from 21-25th June); the only feasible opportunity for the group to hit Worthy Farm would be on Saturday 24th June where there are no shows currently sheduled. HOWEVER we would highly presume that the available date would be reserved to move between Canada and the US in time for the 25th June set at Michigan’s Van Andel Arena.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ sole Glastonbury date was scheduled back in 1993, however the band had to cancel last-minute, instead replaced by Lenny Kravitz as a headliner. They have not appeared since.

UK fans will still get the opportunity to see the Chilis later this year, mind, as they bring their new album The Getaway to London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester in December.
