John Legend may have released one of his best tracks since Made To Love with Penthouse Floor, the Chance The Rapper-featuring single from his upcoming record Darkness and Light.
Released on 2nd December, Darkness and Light also features Legend’s current hit Love Me Now, alongside further collaborations with Miguel and Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard.

The Weeknd’s just announced two new tracks ahead of the forthcoming release of his Starboy LP.
Set to be unveiled tomorrow (17th November), Party Monster will join the Daft Punk-featuring Feel It Coming as the latest excerpts from the new project.

The xx have revealed a string of 2017 UK dates as part of their wider upcoming European tour.
Coinciding with the announcement of their third studio album I See You (out in January), Jamie, Romy and Oliver will perform 7 shows on this side of the pond, with a set that’s likely to include elements of their beautiful discography, all-new material plus their recent single On Hold.
Kicking off at the beginning of March in Nottingham, the multi-date stint will also see two further nights in Manchester alongside a trio of shows at London’s Brixton Academy. The tour will conclude in Cardiff on 17th March.

Already reaching the top spot in the US Hot 100, Nicki Minaj has now given the track a further lease of life by dropping her own freestyle, Black Barbies.
Reminding us how solid her abilities are, Black Barbies here’s rap-Nicki go against the flows of vocal-Nicki, calling shots toward Donald Trump along the way (“Island girl, Donald Trump want me go home.” before adding “Now I’m praying all my foreigns don’t get deported.”).

Nelly Furtado has shared her first piece of solo music since 2012’s The Spirit Indestructible, delivering the tender Pipe Dreams as the first excerpt from her upcoming record The Ride, due out 3rd March.
Alongside the vibey track, Furtado has also released a teaser for the new project, which comes off the back of January’s Dev Hynes collab Hadron Collider, a song which ended up on the latter’s Freetown Sound record.

Acoustic-folk duo Papaphone are the first act since Radiohead to publicly confirm they will be playing 2017’s Glastonbury Festival.
Revealed on their Facebook page last night, the Hertfordshire lads will take to Worthy Farm’s Lost Horizon Sauna And Solar Stage – exact date and time are still to be announced, mind.
Placed toward the top of the Tipi Field (adjacent to the Stone Circle), Lost Horizon is undoubtedly one of Glasto’s many secret gems, and has frequently been described as a ‘festival within a festival’ (so secret that we only bloody found out it existed earlier today!!). Definitely one to check out by the sound of things.
More Glastonbury 2017 news as we hear it, however with over 3,000 acts set to appear next year, we wouldn’t be surprised if more names started to trickle out sooner rather than later.
Emeli Sande has announced a four-date 2017 UK tour in celebration of her new album Long Live The Angels.
Set to kick off in Edinburgh on 16th March, Sande will then travel to Birmingham, before concluding in Leeds on 22nd March. She will also play a headline show at London’s Brixton Academy one day prior (21st March).
Tickets are set to go onsale this coming Friday, 18th November, with a presale kicking off tomorrow (Wednesday 16th November) over at Ticketmaster UK – hit the link below for more info, with full tour schedule following:

Bruno Mars has announced his 85-date world tour ahead of the impending release of his new album 24K Magic.
Kicking off in Belgium on 28th March, Bruno will play several shows throughout Europe before hitting Glasgow on 12th April. There will be a further 9 shows around the UK and Ireland, including two London dates too, with dates also allowing for an opportunity to add more. The 24K Magic tour will then continue throughout Europe until mid-June; from then on, it’s all go to prep the North American sets, which start in Vegas on 15th July.
Interestingly, there also seems to be a strong opportunity for Mars to appear at 2017’s Glastonbury Festival too. Bruno will make his final European appearance in Milan one week prior to Glastonbury before he heads back to complete the US leg – essentially, the singer is a ‘free man’ the second-half of June.
