DJ Snake continues to support his debut record Encore by sharing the video for Let Me Love You, the third official single from the album, and undoubtedly one of this summer’s biggest hits.
Featuring Justin Bieber, the track also follows a recent special remix from Tiesto which dropped a fortnight back on Spotify.

Earlier this morning, London’s Lovebox Festival announced Frank Ocean as their first headliner, marking his first live UK performance in over three years. As the day has unfolded, mind, it seems that Frank is also planning to perform further festival stints next summer too.
Alongside Denmark’s Northside Festival, the singer will reportedly also headline three US festivals too – Hangout, Sasquatch and New York’s Panorama Music Festival. These three shows are yet to be confirmed by organisers, however Consequence Of Sound (who are usually incredibly-accurate with these kinds of news-pieces) are reporting the dates as confirmed.
UPDATE: Hangout Festival have confirmed the news, revealing their 2017 lineup which includes Frank Ocean plus also Chance the Rapper, MGMT, Weezer and Mumford and Sons.

The xx debuted new songs from their upcoming record I See You last night as they kicked off the first show of their European tour in Croatia.

Pete Tong and Jules Buckley’s 60 piece Heritage Orchestra will be hitting London’s O2 Arena on Thursday, re-imagining some of dance music’s most important tracks and paying homage to Ibiza. In preparation for the show (which will feature reworked classics by the likes of DJ Rolando, Orbital, Rhythim is Rhythim, Alison Limerick, ATB, Frankie Knuckles and more), Tong and Buckley have teamed up with Boiler Room to live-stream the full rehearsal.

Lovebox have secured an absolute trump card after confirming the news that Frank Ocean will be the first headliner for next summer’s event.
Set to hit London’s Victoria Park on 14 July, Frank’s appointment will mark his first official U.K. outing since the release of his Blond LP back in the summer; his Lovebox appearance will also be a London festival exclusive too (note: ‘London festival exclusive’, not ‘UK festival exclusive’).

The xx have revealed the official video for On Hold, the lead single from their upcoming third studio album I See You.
Unveiled earlier today, with the record set to land in January, the visual was directed by Alasdair McLellan in Marfa, Texas, an area where the band wrote and recorded some of their all-new material.

Rod Stewart has been confirmed as the second headliner for next summer’s Isle Of Wight Festival, closing the four-day event on Sunday 11th June.
Joining the previously-announced Arcade Fire (who will headline on Saturday 10th June), the 71 year-old’s appointment will mark his only 2017 festival appearance, counting himself out of a rumoured Glastonbury performance a fortnight later.
Of the news, Isle of Wight Festival promoter John Giddings said: “I’ve wanted Rod Stewart to play at the festival for a number of years – he’s an incredible icon with a career that’s spanned over five decades so it’s impossible to not be a fan. On Sunday night he’ll bring an incredible energy to create an unforgettable moment.”
Isle of Wight Festival will be announcing more acts over the coming months; in the meantime, tickets for next year’s event, which runs from 8-11th June, are onsale now direct from Ticketmaster:

Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, RAYE, Jorja Smith and Maggie Rogers are among the nomines in BBC Music’s Sound of 2017 longlist.
The Top 15, which also includes AJ Tracey, Cabbage, Nadia Rose and The Japanese House, were selected by around 170 influential experts within the UK’s music sphere, including many of BBC Music’s radio DJs, music critics, bloggers and broadcasters.
Announced moments ago, the Top 15 will go whittled down to just five acts, announced from January 2nd-onwards on Clara Amfo’s Radio 1 show. The winner will then be revealed on Friday 6th January, and will follow in the footsteps of previous winners Jack Garratt, Years and Years, Sam Smith and Adele.
