Back in the summer, Flume announced his Skin Companion EP, a side-project of his early-2016 record Skin.
Whilst the cuts have been played throughout his global summer shows, today marks the day all become available, and whilst initially a vinyl-only release, Flume has now shared the collection online.

Sub Focus fuses 90s rave culture with a solid breakbeat-led bassline on his excellent new track Love Divine.
Released today (and also cited as Annie Mac’s upcoming R1Dance ‘Hottest Record’ later this evening), the London-based producer has described how his love of the early eras of dance influenced the new song – “I grew up in the 90s listening to jungle, speed garage and house” he says, adding “I didn’t want to recreate it exactly but take inspiration and fuse it with something more modern.”

Following earlier speculation over the weekend, T In The Park have confirmed a break in 2017, thanking fans for “23 years of amazing memories” whilst announcing the return of the event for 2018.
In a statement, organisers said:
“To the best audience in the world,
For over 23 years, T in the Park has been at the heart of Scotland’s music scene – with you, by our side. But for now, sadly, we need to take a break.
We launched T in the Park with one aim: to give Scottish music fans an unforgettable weekend with their friends enjoying the best acts from around the globe. And to say we achieved this together is an understatement. T in the Park has become one of the best known, biggest and most loved festivals in the world. When we launched back in 1994 there were only two music festivals in the UK – now there are many and T in the Park paved the way for all that have come and gone in Scotland since. We created more than just a festival; we created a family and decades of wonderful memories.
However, the last couple of years have had their challenges. Against our will, and despite a prolonged fight, we were forced to move from Balado, Kinross in 2015. This move was a mammoth task for the event and one that was compounded by a series of onerous site restrictions placed upon us as preparations for the event in 2015 took place.
As the build up to the festival was well underway we were informed by Scottish Government Ministers that we would have to apply for full Planning Permission due to the presence of an unregistered, but protected in law, osprey’s nest. The constraints – logistically and financially – that the resulting planning conditions put upon us are simply not workable. We tried our best to work with the pressures placed upon the site by bringing in an additional team and fixing the first year traffic issues, but ultimately we’re not in control of the overall site layout and the continued restrictions means that the negative impact on our fans and the limitations placed on their experience is too great. We now need to take stock and take a year out to try to resolve the issues so that we can once again deliver the kind of camping festival you are used to and deserve.

Following last month’s sold out show at Camden’s KOKO, Loyle Carner has announced plans for a big 2017, kicking off the year with a full length UK tour alongside the release of his hotly-anticipated debut album.
Tour-wise, Loyle’s shows will see him perform fourteen dates across the UK and Ireland, starting in Dublin on 2nd February, before concluding with two headline shows on 17th & 18th Feb at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire.
Meanwhile, the album (titled Yesterday’s Gone) will land on 20th January, preceded by lead single The Isle of Arran – grab a listen below. You can also check out full tour dates underneath too, whilst tickets go onsale tomorrow (Friday 25th November):

Following the recent appointments of Green Day and Phil Collins, Kings of Leon have now been revealed as the third headline act for 2017’s British Summer Time.
Currently celebrating the huge success of their recent album WALLS, the band will hit London’s Hyde Park stage on 6th July, joined by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats plus Pixies on support. The show also marks a 2017 UK festival exclusive too, counting Kings of Leon out of next year’s Glastonbury (last month, the group expressed their desire to play Glasto 2017, telling BBC News “we’ll have to get on it in 2017. I’ll have to text Mr Eavis.”).

Earlier this year, Solomon Grey shared a live video for Broken Light, the haunting yet atmospheric standout from their excellent self-titled debut LP. Today, the track receives an official release as the duo’s latest single, and also marks the first time the London-based boys have lent their music to a soundtrack.
Provided as the backing audio for the trailer of new Russell Tovey movie The Pass, the pairing appears as a subject close to the hearts of the band’s Tom and Joe – “It’s frustrating to think that anyone in our society does not feel they can openly be themselves” says the duo, adding “The Pass is an important film which highlights this issue within the world of professional football, and as football fans we were very happy to include our single Broken Light in the trailer”.
Broken Light lands on 9th December, coinciding with the cinema release of The Pass, alongside an additional remix courtesy of Anjunadeep-heralded Ashworth.
