London Grammar took to the Comic Relief stage last night, delivering the world’s first live performance of the title-track of their upcoming second studio album Truth Is A Beautiful Thing.

After teasing their collaboration a couple of weeks back, Kurupt FM have finally revealed their contribution to 2017’s Comic Relief in its finest form.
Titled Brentford 2 Africa, the track sees the stars of People Just Do Nothing team up with ‘Ed Sheerer’, with a simple message of bringing UKG to Africa to make the world a better place.

Gorillaz marked their return in a big way yesterday – no less than announcing their all-new album Humanz (set for release April 28th), Damon Albarn’s group also revealed four new songs from the project as part of a UK-wide radio takeover.
Alongside new music also came the surprise confirmation of an intimate show at a secret venue in London, and tonight that gig kicked off in a mammoth way – Gorillaz played the entirety of Humanz to the packed crowd, alongside welcoming some of the project’s collaborators onstage as special guests. Albarn also confirmed that every contributor will appear alongside Gorillaz at the forthcoming Demon Dayz Festival in Margate later this summer too.

The latest track from The Notorious B.I.G.’s long-awaited duets album The King & I has arrived.
Ten Wife Commandments, which features Faith Evans, reimagines Ten Crack Commandments but told from Faith’s perspective and comes just shy of the 20th anniversary of Biggie’s seminal record Life After Death. The track also follows recent offshoots NYC and the Snoop Dogg-featuring When We Party.

It’s been just over a month since Rationale (aka Tinashe Fazakerley) shared Tethered as the final piece of his Vessels EP, however already he’s been back in the studio conjouring up more music.
Today, he drops the richly-inviting Deliverance, a track that’s likely to bring out comparisons all the way from Sampha to Jack Garratt to Labrinth to Jacob Banks (and more). This is atmospheric-soul at its rawest and at its finest.

There seems to be a drought of just chilled-out ‘vibey’ R&B at the moment…. you know the type, the kind of sounds that can mellow you out in an instant, and be as powerful in the forefront as they are just subtly appearing in the background. It’s exactly this kind of jam that Murkage Dave and Patrick Scally bring in their new HALFBROTHER collaborative effort, Love Letter.
Quietly dropping online yesterday, Love Letter delivers relationship guilt on a whole new level – in Dave’s own words: “You cooked for man when i was sleeping on floors. Came to meet me in next cities off the strength of a text. Visited in the hospital when i was effed up. And what did i ever do for you? Apart from swerve & bullshit when it was convenient.”
The duo are currently working on their full-length debut album, expected to land later this year, and a project which’ll hopefully continue their interesting and thought-provoking observations on identity and challenging social norms to a more fuller extreme.

London Grammar have announced their new album Truth Is A Beautiful Thing following the recent release of singles Rooting For You and Big Picture.
Shared alongside the project’s title-track, the trio’s second studio record will be released on 9th June and come in two versions – an 11-track ‘Standard Edition’, alongside a ‘Deluxe Edition’ which adds a further seven songs.
Ahead of the album’s release, London Grammar have also confirmed their return to touring. Initially playing a set of intimate UK venues next month, the band have also confirmed they will be returning to perform at Glastonbury for the first time since 2014. Their set will follow a fortnight on from the album’s release.

Eager Kendrick Lamar fans were thrown into a guessing game yesterday after the rapper removed all traces of his Instagram, and instead replacing with one single image – the Roman numeral ‘IV’. From then on, the web went into a spin; particularly on the assumption that K.Dot was hinting at his fourth studio album, the anticipated follow-up to 2015’s To Pimp A Butterfly.
Overnight though, Kendrick came clean by dropping all-new single The Heart Part 4, again adding more fuel that a new full-length project isn’t too far away.
Earlier this month Kendrick spoke to the New York Times regarding the potential theme for Album No.4, saying:
“I think now, how wayward things have gone within the past few months, my focus is ultimately going back to my community and the other communities around the world where they’re doing the groundwork. To Pimp a Butterfly was addressing the problem. I’m in a space now where I’m not addressing the problem anymore,” he explained. “We’re in a time where we exclude one major component out of this whole thing called life: God. Nobody speaks on it because it’s almost in conflict with what’s going on in the world when you talk about politics and government and the system.”

Zayn Malik has released his new single Still Got Time less than a week on from the track’s initial announcement.
Featuring a tie-up with OVO’s PARTYNEXTDOOR, Still Got Time marks Zayn’s first piece of new solo material since last year’s Mind of Mine debut and is confirmed as the first official single from his upcoming second studio album, set to land this summer.
