Becky Hill announces October 2017 UK tour
Becky Hill has announced a trio of UK shows ahead of this week’s release of her new single Rude Love.
Set to kick off at Manchester’s Gorilla on 18th October, Becky will then hit London’s KOKO the following evening, before concluding at Birmingham’s O2 Institute 3 on the 20th. Next week’s headline show at Scala in King’s Cross has already sold out.

V Festival 2017: Chase and Status, Annie Mac, Duke Dumont and Icarus announced
The BBC and V Festival organisers have announced the full line-up for the Radio 1 Stage across Chelmsford and Staffordshire later this summer.
Set to hit both sites on Friday 18th August, Staffordshire’s guestlist will see a headline DJ set from Chase and Status, with Duke Dumont also confirmed to appear alongside Radio 1 DJs Danny Howard, Annie Mac and Mistajam. Meanwhile, Annie will also be headlining the R1 stage at Chelmsford’s Hyland Park (cue a repeat of last year’s helicopter trip between the sites!) with Icarus, Netsky and Wilkinson also confirmed.
The full V Festival line-up was announced in its entirety last month, and will see headline performances from Jay Z and Pink across the 19-20th August weekend – tickets are available now via the link below; line-up follows underneath:

Live stream Craig David’s TS5 show at London’s O2 Arena
No-one could doubt the magnificence of Craig David’s resurgence. From ‘that’ guest spot on Kurupt FM’s 60 Minutes Live back in September 2015 all the way to his recent BRIT Award nomination (Best Male Artist), it’s been a stellar 18 months for the Southampton-born singer/MC. Tonight though, he’ll reach even bigger climbs when he performs the second of two sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena as part of his ‘Following My Intuition’ Tour, and we’re live-streaming the whole set here.

Glastonbury 2017: Father John Misty self-confirms
Father John Misty will return to Glastonbury this summer, the artist has announced.
Self-confirming the news following his 6Music Festival appearance earlier today, the former Fleet Foxes member will return to Worthy Farm after a two year absence – he last played at The Park stage back in 2015. It’s highly likely he’ll use the opportunity to showcase cuts from his forthcoming album Pure Comedy, which lands next month.
Father John Misty’s appearance adds to the growing number of confirmed artists on this year’s Glastonbury bill, which now includes all three headliners (Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Ed Sheeran), Nile Rodgers, Fatboy Slim, Soulwax and London Grammar, among others. The full line-up is still yet to be revealed however it’s likely Glastonbury organisers will drip-feed the first 100-odd names (or so) over the next week or two, prior to the closure of the ticket balance payment window.

Ultra Music fans will no doubt be aware of the live streaming that’s currently going on for the Miami weekender, and to date there’s been some pretty nifty surprises (Martin Garrix debuted shedloads of new music for starters!). However one of the most welcoming pieces of unheard sonics came via ZHU who shared his remix of new Gorillaz joint Andromeda.
In our mind it does sound pretty unfinished (we’re unsure whether it’s an official remix, and therefore the mysterious producer may have only had 24 hours to work on it), but it’s still showing some promise. Catch it below – it’s VERY Zhu btw:
Harry Styles announces new music with mysterious TV ad
Harry Styles has released a mysterious TV spot confirming his return to the music world as a soloist.
Premiered during the ad break for The Voice UK earlier this evening (Saturday 25th March), the 30-second ad teased a 7th April release date for the former One Direction member’s debut single. The date also aligns with a recent tease by US radio host Elvis Duran, who reportedly revealed Harry’s new song would air around that time.
Recently Hits Daily Double also teased Harry’s new sound, saying “In marked contrast to One Direction’s production by committee, Styles has crafted a set that recalls the regal high-water mark of ’70s British rock, Bowie and Queen in particular” they said, adding “The lead single sounds like it would be a smash in any decade”.
The release of the clip mirrors that of Adele who released a similar teaser with Hello during The X Factor UK ad-break back in 2015:

Listen: Moon Boots – ‘Tear My Heart’ (ft Lulu James) (Nick Trikakis Remix)
When Moon Boots shared the Lulu James-featuring Tear My Heart back in February, it definitely seemed like a collaboration that was far long overdue – the US producer delivered an epic rework when he remixed Lulu and Lane 8’s Loving You back in 2015, and to finally hear these two come together once again felt like an absolute dream. However, whilst February’s joint certainly delivered, it’s LA-based Nick Trikakis who absolutely nails it here, with a truly excellent remix of Tear My Heart, Moon Boots’ first release on Anjundeep.

Listen: Karma Kid & Fono – ‘Allison’
Karma Kid and Fono have been on similar trajectories for a while now, and having both been championed by many tastemakers over the past few years (predominately Radio 1’s Danny Howard and Monki), a collaboration between the two always did seem to be on the cards at some point. Today, the duo firmly deliver as Karma Kid temporarily sidelines his recent Shy Luv project to hook up with Fono for Allison, released via Disclosure’s Method Records imprint.
