Watch Sampha’s new 37-minute ‘Process’ mini-movie
Sampha has unveiled his anticipated Process mini-movie in its entirety, following two sold-out shows at Camden’s Roundhouse.
Released as an Apple Music exclusive, the 37-minute film (directed by Kahlil Joseph) comes as a side-project to February’s album of the same name, and delves into the background of the collection alongside Sampha himself. Of the movie, Sampha says “It’s been a genuine pleasure collaborating with Khalil on this film. He has such a unique visual language and has found such a beautiful way to tell this story.”

Mary J Blige announces London Kew Gardens show
After playing alongside Maxwell at London’s O2 Arena last October, Mary J Blige has announced her return to the UK to perform a one-off date at London’s Royal Botanical Gardens (aka Kew).
Set to hit the venue on Sunday 16th July, Blige will no doubt showcase material from her upcoming studio album Strength of a Woman (out in April), whilst the venue itself seems ripe for her to also deliver cuts from 2014’s The London Sessions LP, which saw Blige team up with a host of UK talents, including Naughty Boy, Jimmy Napes, Disclosure and more.

Video: Kendrick Lamar – ‘Humble’
Kendrick Lamar’s dropped another piece of new music, a week on from the surprise release of The Heart Part 4.
Titled Humble, the track comes less than 24 hours after mysterious artwork started floating on the web, including some notable tweets by the more verified of the music folk out there (including Mike WiLL Made It, which led to some speculation of him producing the new joint).
It’s been just over two years since Kendrick’s last major release and now all eyes and ears are looking at what’s next in store for his anticipated follow-up to 2015’s To Pimp A Butterfly. Could album No.4 be on its way? One thing’s for sure, it seems we’re only just getting started when it comes to new K.Dot music!

Watch Sampha cover Drake’s ‘Controlla’ in the Live Lounge
Sampha’s work with Drake has been heavily-documented over the years; after collaborating with Drizzy on ‘Nothing Was The Same’s Too Much, Sampha also appeared on Drake’s recent More Life project, and earlier this week he chose Controlla as his surprise cover to celebrate his return to BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
During the stint (which also saw him perform his Process single (No One Knows Me) Like The Piano), Sampha also teased additional future collaborations. When asked by Clara Amfo whether he has an album’s worth of material recorded with Drake, Sampha coyly replied “maybe”.
