SG Lewis has returned with Times We Had, his first piece of new music since last year’s Yours EP.
Featuring xylophonic sweeps, simple snare flicks and brought together by NYC-based Toulouse’s futuristic soul-led vocals, Times We Had ups the tempo versus some of the producer’s early work – hitting the mark perfectly like the rest of his discography, this joint could easily provide a cool backdrop to some [hopeful] summer heatwaves.

Four years on from their breathtaking debut If You Wait, London Grammar have finally revealed the anticipated follow-up, Truth Is A Beautiful Thing.
Coming six months on since the surprise New Year release of lead-track Rooting From You, the trio’s second project has all the hallmarks of a classic. Featuring recent excerpts Oh Woman, Oh Man, Hell To The Liars and Big Picture, the album comes with a further fourteen songs (one being an exclusive cover of The Verve’s Bittersweet Symphony, recorded earlier in the year for BBC Radio 1). Ahead of the release of her sophomore album Melodrama later this month, Lorde has shared details of a multi-date UK and Europe-wide tour.
Kicking off in Manchester on September 26th, the live show will also see the Grammy Award-winning artist hit London’s Alexandra Palace alongside shows in Brighton, Birmingham and Glasgow. Khalid will join Lorde on all shows.

Glastonbury’s hidden treasure Strummerville has announced its 2017 line-up as eager fans kick off their two week countdown for Worthy Farm’s gates to open.
Now in its third year, Strummerville will return to the site adjacent to the Stone Circle and The Park, and will continue to deliver an atmosphere of drink, warmth, talk and laughter for which it has become synonymous with since its 2015 inception.

Sinead Harnett has announced a one-off show at Camden’s Jazz Cafe in celebration of the recent release of her new Chapter One mixtape.
Set to hit the iconic stage on 18th July, Harnett says “I’m so excited to be playing at the Jazz Cafe. I’ve seen such incredible artists perform there, and love the intimate feeling it gives me. I can’t wait!!”. The Jazz Cafe has been seen as one of the pinnacle highlights in an artist’s career, so Sinead’s appointment to the stage is a massively-significant one.

Plan B has shared the official video for In The Name Of Man, the lead single from his first album since 2012’s Ill Manors.
Delivered as a collaboration with the Flabbergast Theatre, the Londoner speaks of the visual, saying “The only power we have as artists is to create a catalyst that sparks a conversation on a wider scale, and I know the media already do that, but they so often do it in a way that caters to the political views of an intended audience. Whereas art comments on these issues from a more sincere point of view, with its only agenda being to make you feel some emotion from the information it’s conveying to you. In essence, connect with your heart, not just your head.” adding, “The more music, film and literature there is out there that appeals to better nature of our humanity, and makes us think about our actions, the better informed we’ll be when we find ourselves in situations where we have a moral choice to make, and hopefully, help us make the right one.”

The BBC have started to announce details of one of Glastonbury’s most-anticipated stages, as the BBC Introducing tent returns to Silver Hayes for another year.
The Sherlocks were first to be announce, hitting the stage on Glastonbury’s final day, whilst Hertfordshire-based Folly Rae will kick things off on the Friday. Devon-based Tourists will also play the Friday, with Londonderry-born ROE joining Onyda to make their BBC Introducing debuts.
Meanwhile Josh Barry will also be making his first solo visit to Worthy Farm after walking away as the winner of Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition last month. Lulu James, who has previously worked with Josh during their time as vocalists with Gorgon City, has also been confirmed to appear too.

Ahead of the release of their final album later this month, TLC have unveiled the video to the project’s lead single Way Back.
Assisted by Snoop Dogg (who also cameos in the clip), the visual sees an upbeat celebration of life – a video which will inevitably make you smile throughout.

Following the area’s initial reveal almost six months back, Glastonbury organisers have announced the full line-up for their brand new on-site venture, Cineramageddon.
Featuring fifty mutated cars, upcycled fun fair rides and a Lear Jet, the 2,000-capacity arena will be opened at 9.30pm on Wednesday 21st June (with a screening of Julien Temple’s film ‘Glastonbury’, re-cut for 2017); from then on, it’s three movies a night until Glastonbury’s close on Monday 26th. Cineramageddon has also been confirmed as the last area of entertainment to close for the year too.
It’s not just a night-time venue either; nestled alongside the Cineramageddon arena comes the Black Lamp Cinema, a 500 capacity daytime tent which will screen a provocative selection of films throughout the day, with some followed by talks and Q&A sessions with the filmmakers and cast.

DJ Khaled has revealed new music, enlisting Drake for To The Max.
Set to arrive on Khaled’s upcoming record Grateful, due 23rd June, To The Max comes complete with a nifty sample of T2’s Heartbroken, and follows February’s surprise Jay Z and Beyonce collab, Shining.
