Jorja Smith continues to prove why she’s such a shining example of a bonafide UK export with Teenage Fantasy, her first piece of new music since the excellent Project 11 EP.
Written ahead of her time when she was just 16, Teenage Fantasy is set to start the ball rolling when it comes to new music for the 19 year old – a video is also set to be just around the corner too.

London Grammar’s anticipated sophomore album Truth Is A Beautiful Thing lands in less than a month, and whilst a wealth of singles have already been shared, there’s no sign of slowing things down when it comes to new music.
Hell To The Liars, revealed as Zane Lowe’s latest Beats 1 World Record, joins the project’s title-track, alongside the recent Oh Woman, Oh Man as the latest release from the project, and comes shared with a live performance recording during the trio’s intimate Hackney Round show back in April.

For three hours, Ariana Grande reminded us of the healing powers of music during her star-studded One Love Manchester concert at the city’s Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
Featuring the likes of Pharrell Williams, Take That and Justin Bieber (among others), plus a surprise showing from Liam Gallagher, the concert was held in tribute to those who tragically lost their lives following a terrorist attack in the city last month.
Ariana appeared throughout the evening, performing some of her many solo hits plus joining some of the many artists onstage for new renditions of their own tracks. Toward the close, Coldplay graced the stage, with Grande jumping on to join Chris Martin and co to cover Oasis’ Don’t Look Back In Anger.

Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester tribute concert has kicked off. Opened by Marcus Mumford followed by Take That, the benefit gig will pay homage to the 22 people who tragically lost their lives when explosives were set off following the conclusion of Grande’s Manchester Arena show last month.
Set to feature Ariana, alongside the likes of Justin Bieber, Pharrell, Katy Perry, Coldplay and more, the concert was originally scheduled to be simulcast on the UK’s BBC networks, however now a live stream has been set up for the world to see.

From last month’s tragic Manchester attack to the recent events in London which killed 7 innocent members of the public (with over 40 injured confirmed so far), Glastonbury goers have come together to announce a unique attempt to promote world peace and solidarity at Worthy Farm later this month.
Organisers of Peace On The Farm have created an on-site event described as an “attempt to break the world record and create the largest ever human peace sign as a symbol of our unity and love for one another”.
The event is open to all attendees at Glastonbury 2017, and will take place at Worthy Farm’s Stone Circle at midday on Thursday 22nd June.
Head over to the Facebook event to sign-up; in less than three hours of being announced, over 2,000 attendees have already expressed their interest in attending, so this could end up being pretty big indeed.

Dusky have announced new music, their first since last year’s excellent Outer, by sharing the opener to their upcoming Cold Heart EP.
Premiered on Danny Howard’s Radio 1 Dance show earlier this evening, Cold Heart will join three other tracks on Dusky’s new project (new song Bowed will definitely appear to the tech-heads out there, whilst Psychic Life Coach sounds particularly meaty straight from the intro). Anyhow, all that new music drops later this month; in the meantime though, stream the title-track below:

Directed by Tony Kaye, the visuals see varying soundscapes and projections that were brought together during an ‘audio experiment’ in Shoreditch back in April. Catch both clips below:
Lorde has shared a new song, two weeks prior to the release of her anticipated sophomore album Melodrama.
Perfect Places, which comes as the closing track from the album, caps off what seems a raucous house party (apparently the ‘start-to-finish’ theme of Melodrama). Here Lorde questions whether ‘perfect places’ even exist anyway – from hooking up with a stranger, to throwing up after too much alcohol (a scenario which often seems pressured on youth) – Lorde has delivered something here which is not only stupendously catchy but also incredibly-clever in context too.

The Blues Stage has announced its Glastonbury 2017 line-up, completing the final piece of the Silver Hayes puzzle.
Featuring headline sets from Seth Troxler and Kolsch, alongside a Glastonbury return for Mylo, The Blues will also see DJ sets from the likes of Barely Legal, 1Xtra’s Charlie Sloth and GotSome. Hospital Records will also mark their 21st anniversary with a 4-hour takeover too.
