Kurupt FM announce ‘The Lost Tape’ mixtape
Kurupt FM have hooked up with a wealth of some of their UKG heroes with their new mixtape, the aptly titled The Lost Tape.
Announced as “the greatest mix ever recorded” (obviously!), The Lost Tape hears a host of seminal tracks that have shaped UKG culture over the years. MC’d by DJ Beats and MC Grindah and mixed live by Steves, the project features the likes of Wiley, Mike Skinner, DJ Zinc and Dizzee, among others, and comes with a full-length video from documentary filmmaker Ewen Spencer.

Jessie Ware’s third studio album Glasshouse has arrived.
Featuring previous singles Midnight, Selfish Love and Alone, the album is potentially Jessie’s most urgent (and beautiful) project to-date – fans of her last studio outing on Tough Love should instantly connect with this one. Written between LA and London, the album contains collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Hugo and Felix White (The Maccabees), Dave Okumu, Stint, Two Inch Punch, Kid Harpoon, Julia Michaels, Ryan Tedder and a host of other friends and collaborators alongside Benny Blanco from what became the album’s creative centre – his home in LA.

Sam Smith announces ‘The Thrill Of It All’ 2018 UK Tour
Sam Smith has announced a host of UK live shows as part of his wider 2018 European tour.
Kicking off at Sheffield’s Fly DSA Arena on 20th March, Sam will then travel across the country, stopping at Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham (plus a stop-over in Dublin). He will then conclude with two headline shows at London’s O2 Arena on 6/7th April. **UPDATE: A third and fourth show at The O2 has been added due to overwhelming demand**

Stormzy and J Hus lead the charge at 2017 MOBO Award nominations
Stormzy has sealed off an incredible year, securing five tips for this year’s MOBO Awards following the announcement of the 2017 nominations earlier today.
Revealed at London’s YouTube Space (marking a departure from MOBO’s usual home of the capital’s Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club), Stormzy’s lead also saw welcome nods go the way of J Hus who secured four nominations, including Best Album for Common Sense and Best Song for Did You See.
Other notable acts also tipped at this year’s MOBOs include Jorja Smith (who secured three nominations in the Best Female, Best R&B/Soul Act and Best Newcomer categories) and Loyle Carner, whose The Isle Of Arran landed in the Best Video grouping.
This year will see the MOBO Awards return to Leeds, hitting the city’s First Direct Arena on 29th November; performances are set to be announced in the lead-up.
