Having spent the last couple of years touring the globe off the back of 2014’s hugely successful debut Wish You Were Mine, Philip George has returned with new music, capping off 2017 with the exciting Losing My Mind.

Featuring vocal duties from Saint Raymond, the track marks a slight shift from Philip’s earlier work, this time erring more toward the world of synth pads and Moog basslines. The whole cut is massively effective (oh, plus the Apexape remix is equally as banging)!

Sam Smith has shared another new song ahead of next week’s release of his forthcoming album The Thrill Of It All.

Premiered as Mistajam’s latest Radio 1 ‘Hottest Record’, Burning marks one of Sam’s most-personal songs to-date, detailing to Mistajam that the track is his favourite cut from the new project.

Doorly’s Reptile Dysfunction drops a huge house record from a brand new project accompanied by vocals from Idris Elba, with remixes from Patrick Topping, Skream and more completing what will surely be one of the biggest packages of the year.

Back Talk, the new collaborative electronic live band project consisting of core member producers and Reptile Dysfunction label mates Doorly, Trooko and Tan Dem, have shared their debut release, enlisting vocal support from Idris Elba on Paradise.

With remixes on the way courtesy of Patrick Topping and Skream (among others), it’s the latter we’re bringing you today, whose exemplary rework delivers a gorgeous post-3am mindfuck that you just won’t want to end.

Listen below; a full-length Back Talk album will drop in early 2018, featuring even more guest vocalists.

Glastonbury 2019 dates finally revealed

Glastonbury Festival organisers have finally confirmed the dates for 2019’s return.

Set to open its gates on Wednesday 26th June, the 5-day festival will run until Sunday 30th June 2019, the final weekend of the solstice month. Confirmation was posted on Glastonbury’s official website moments ago.

2018 will mark Glastonbury’s regular ‘fallow year’; a one year break allowing the farm and animals a chance to revive without disruption (alongside giving staff a rest as well).

Obviously it’s too early for any 2019 headliners to be confirmed just yet, but heavy rumours have been circulating toward the likes of Madonna and Fleetwood Mac finally hitting the Pyramid Stage in the coming years.

Following a successful live stint over the last couple of years, Pete Tong will release the second installment of his Ibiza Classics orchestral reinterpretations in December.

Featuring collaborations with the likes of Craig David, Jessie Ware and Rae, alongside Jules Buckley’s Heritage Orchestra, Pete has now revealed the project’s first release, teaming up with Becky Hill for a rework of Moloko’s classic Sing It Back.

Stupidly we’ve slept on El Train’s music (it’s tough to keep up with so much rising talent!); but one glance at the Brighton-based producer’s Soundcloud reveals an abnormal amount of solid gems that we seriously urge you to feast your ears on.

Today, El Train’s also [sort of] announce a new collection, sharing the lead track Feels Like. “I’ve been working away on new music for over a year and ‘Feels Like’ is the first track off a whole project i’ve got coming.” he says of the track.

Self-proclaimed purveyors of ‘future-house’, Autograf have kept the essence of Halsey’s vocals at the epicentre here, though throwing in added support courtesy of some gorgeous twinkly, head-nodding sonics. This is serious vibes; catch it below:

Sigma have announced their first piece of new music since their sold-out show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, teaming up with Quavo and Sebastian Kole on Forever.

Sidelining their pop-led DnB roots toward the more urban sphere, Forever marks “the next step in our story” says Sigma’s Joe, adding “Cam and I have always wanted to make music that had that hip hop feel to it. It’s a genre we’ve both had a strong association with growing up and also with the music we’ve previously made…. Working with Quavo and Sebastian has been great. It was the first time we had been to LA to record, so for a record like this to come together so naturally out there was pretty crazy.”
