Watch Drake’s new video for the Lauryn Hill-sampling ‘Nice For What’

True to his word, Drake dropped his brand new song in the early hours.

Titled ‘Nice For What’, the track comes laced with a continuous sample of Lauryn Hill’s 1998 classic ‘Ex-Factor’, whilst production work appears courtesy of frequent-collaborator Murda Beats (‘More Life’ & ‘Views’).

This is not the first time the Canadian rapper has taken cues from Lauryn Hill; ‘Doo-Wop (That Thing)’ was also sampled back on 2014’s ‘Draft Day’.

Watch the video for ‘Nice For What’ below, which also features cameos from the likes of Tiffany Haddish, Syd and Jourdan Dunn.

Following their successful tie-ups on ‘If You Let Me’ and ‘Still Miss You’, Sinead Harnett has reunited with GRADES for the sultry ‘Body’.

For what’s set to be a preview of Sinead’s forthcoming long-player, expected to land later this year (and feature collaborations spanning the likes of Darkchild, Marlon Roudette and more), ‘Body’ marks the first piece of work from the Londoner since last year’s ‘Chapter One’ EP.

Watch Grace Savage’s new video for the charismatic ‘Headlights’

Back in February, newcomer Grace Savage dropped her charismatic ‘Headlights’, an enchanting spin on alt/future-laced electro-pop that instantly made us want for more.

Now some months on, and with her ‘Control Freak’ EP not far off (the project’s launch party will take place at the end of May), Grace has shared the track’s official video which we’re super-hyped to be able to premiere today.

Complete with contemporary dance movement, the visual comes somewhat a departure of what one would expect from a four-time beatbox champion. Grace’s artistic flair is fully present here, echoing the tenderness of the song alongside setting the scene as to the type of artist we can expect from Savage as the year progresses.

SG Lewis has finally unveiled his anticipated ‘Dusk’, the first part of his new ‘Dusk, Dark, Dawn’ trilogy.

Released earlier today, the 6-track project sets the tone for the early part of an evening on the tiles, delivering warming grooves across moody familiarity – “Disco has always had the association of the start of a night for me” says the producer, adding “I spent a lot a time as a resident DJ in clubs and disco was always that magnetic genre, always brought people onto the dancefloor.” Lead single ‘Aura’ blends SG’s signature warm, uptempo house with disco inflections. “There’s an undeniable beauty to this part of the night. The apprehension, excitement… ‘Dusk’ is the warm-up for the heavier, darker things to come.”

Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa have released their new collaboration ‘One Kiss’.

Acting as a complete 180 from Calvin’s recent ‘Nuh Ready Nuh Ready’, ‘One Kiss’ is far more dance-friendly, and based on the scale of Dua Lipa’s own fan-reach herself, we reckon the song’s also likely to chart higher than its predecessor too.

Drake is dropping a new single tomorrow as he readies his new album

Drake has announced plans to release a brand new single later this evening (6th April).

Jumping onstage during last night’s Majid Jordan gig at his home city of Toronto, Drizzy said “The reason I’m here tonight is because I’m back in the city finishing my album… I’ve got a new single dropping tomorrow night too”.

Drake’s most-recent release was January’s surprise two-track ‘Scary Hours’ EP; March 2017’s ‘More Life’ playlist was the last full-length project from the rapper, however he hasn’t released an album since 2016’s ‘Views’.
