Florence and the Machine have announced their next single, ‘Hunger’.
Set to land this coming Thursday, 2nd May, alongside a new video directed by Andrés Gonzalez Rojas, the track follows ‘Sky Full Of Song‘ which landed as a Record Store Day exclusive earlier in the month.

No sooner had teaser posters started to appear up and down the country, The 1975 have now reignited their social media, sharing what seems to be lyrics from their upcoming project ‘Music For Cars’.
Pictured in a similar style, look and feel to the posters shared online yesterday, the lyrics bring light to ‘Don’t You Mind’, the phrase appearing as a constant in ‘Me’, lifted off their third EP also titled ‘Music For Cars’.
Whatever’s going on, it’s time to get excited. In the meantime read the lyrics below:

It seems fans of The 1975 won’t have too long to wait for new music.
Teasers for the band’s upcoming project ‘Music For Cars’ have started to appear in billboards across Manchester, featuring what’s likely to be lyrics from the record’s first single, alongside a timeline stretching to 2019.
Last week, the band’s manager Jamie Oborne responded to a fan’s request of more information, promising new music was on the horizon, alongside the closure of the group’s previous era, ‘I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’.

Kanye West has baffled fans by appearing to reveal the cover of his next album.
According to his latest tweet, the cover will be a picture of Kanye’s late month’s plastic surgeon, Dr Jan Adams – Adams had performed a breast reduction procedure on Donda West back in 2007; she passed away the following day after post-operative complications.
During a conversation with his friend ‘Wes’, Kanye was screengrabbed saying “This is my album cover. This is plastic surgeon Jan Adams. The person who performed my mom’s final surgery. Do you have any title ideas?”

Kanye recently announced he would be releasing a new mini-album on 1st June, with a Kid Cudi-collaborative project following one week later. A new song, likely to appear on Ye’s upcoming record also landed this morning – you can listen to ‘Ye vs The People’, featuring T.I., here.
Prior to releasing ‘Ye Vs The People‘ in the early hours, Kanye West also shared another new song, ‘Lift Yourself’.
Teased via his Twitter account earlier in the day, Yeezy said “I’m going to drop a song with a verse that will bring Ebro the closure he’s been seeking,” – the tweet referred to a recent conversation with the Beats 1 host that went viral on Thursday.
‘Lift Yourself’, unlike ‘Ye Vs The People’, in effect purely hears Kanye trolling the web – the bars are intelligible and make zero sense – he’s basically just taking the piss with this one. Conversely, the backing beat is still great (it features a sample of Amnesty’s ‘Liberty’).

It’s been almost six months since mysterious producer shallou started up the promo for his ‘Souls’ EP. Now having already shared several cuts from the project (including the stunning ‘You and Me’), the 7-tracker has finally arrived in its entirety, and it doesn’t disappoint.
Featuring three further unheard songs (including a masterpiece on closer ‘Skin’), ‘Souls’ is as delicate and as captivating as familiar ground from the likes of Maribou State, NoMBe and Lapalux. We’d highly recommend an immersive session with this one.

Future Classic’s Hayden James has revealed his groovy new single ‘Just Friends’.
Teaming up with Boy Matthews on vocals (some may recognise the latter from Duke Dumont’s ‘Ocean Drive’), the track follows James’ last output ‘Numb’, and continues the Australian label’s strive for just delivering some of the best sonics out there.

Kanye West is back!
Having spent the past 10 days or so throwing his world back online via constant Twitter posts (plus also his questionable comments about Donald Trump), Ye has returned with new music. The aptly-titled ‘Ye Vs. The People’ hears Kanye hook up with T.I. on a joint that addresses his Trump posts, alongside the backlash (and approval) from all sides of the political sphere.
Whilst the subject-matter probably treads a thin line, we’re not gonna lie when we say we’re massively impressed with this. Whether ‘Ye Vs. The People’ appears on Kanye’s upcoming record remains to be seen, but regardless, this is one of the best beats we’ve heard from West in a long time.

Using Sam’s soul-infused, slow-jam as a staring-pad, MK’s new edit works a funky, groove-swung beat around the singer’s vocal topline (alongside the powerful gospel notes of the choir), in turn delivering a chaotic club anthem.
