Fast-rising Mad Teeth have dropped their excellent new single ‘Money Brain’.

Blending a high-octane explosion of UKG with some added bassline, ‘Money Brain’ hears the London-based trio connect with Kida Kudz for the first time, with Kudz’s appearance upping the ante thanks to some super-slick vocals.

“Having Kida jump on a feature was a no brainer for us!” say Mad Teeth – “We felt his energetic style and energy would be perfect for a Mad Teeth collab. During the studio session we were so inspired by Kida’s story of coming to London from Nigeria, becoming an artist and his whole attitude towards killing the track. The session came together naturally and creating Money Brain felt like us paying homage to London’s garage scene from a Mad Teeth perspective mixed with Kida’s African influences and story telling!”

Rage Against the Machine have confirmed early rumours of a reunion, with a series of shows alongside a headline slot at 2020’s Coachella.

Set to appear together for the first time since 2011, the band will initially play three shows near (or along) the Mexican border – El Paso, Las Cruses and Phoenix – before heading to California in April for Coachella’s double weekends.

Earlier this year, Tom Morello downplayed chances of a reunion, telling Consequence of Sound “I would say, rather than people waiting around for Rage Against the Machine, form your own band… Let’s hear what you have to say. Get out there and do it. Don’t sit around twiddling your thumbs waiting for some other band to do it”.

According to reports, the possibility of Donald Trump winning a second term at next year’s presidential election compelled the band to reform.

Glastonbury 2020: Other Stage to feature “Pyramid-level headliners”

0

Glastonbury Festival’s 50th anniversary will see “Pyramid-level headliners” lead the charge at the site’s Other Stage, organiser Emily Eavis has revealed.

Speaking to Radio 2’s Jo Whiley at BBC Music Introducing Live at London’s Tobacco Dock earlier today (31st October), Eavis also confirmed that two of the three Pyramid Stage headliners for 2020’s Glastonbury have now been booked, teasing “the two that we’ve booked have not done the festival before”.

Speaking ahead of this evening’s Guardian Live event in celebration of Glastonbury’s 50th birthday, Emily also shattered the dreams of some names ever appearing at Worthy Farm, saying the booking process is “not quite as easy as everybody thinks”, adding “in terms of people saying ‘Can’t you just get Led Zepplin?’ or ‘Why haven’t you asked Pink Floyd?’ You know, those kind of things which are just obviously never going to happen.”

Glastonbury Festival will run between 24-28th June 2020.

Six years on from their 2013 split, My Chemical Romance have announced their reunion with a one-off show in December.

Set to play a comeback gig at LA’s Shrine Expo Hall on 20th December, the announcement follows rumours earlier this year after Joe Jonas claimed that the band had been rehearsing in a studio next door in NYC. The Shrine Expo Hall performance will be My Chemical Romance’s first gig since 2012.

The band have yet to confirm whether their reunion will lead to further shows or whether this would be a one-off.

Mike Skinner confirms Glastonbury 2020

Mike Skinner has announced his return to Glastonbury for the festival’s 50th anniversary next year.

Sharing the visual for ‘Take Me As I Am’, his recent collaboration with Chris Lorenzo, it was revealed both DJ/producers will be appearing at Worthy Farm on a b2b session – “the first person to name all the legends in this video will be my guest at glastonbury 2020 when i go back to back with @chrislorenzo66”.

It’s too early to even confirm what stage the Lorenzo/Skinner hook-up will take place at, but we can definitely smell a stench of after-hours South East Corner naughtiness about this one! Mike Skinner closed the John Peel Stage as The Streets at this year’s event.

Though details remain sketchy, West did confirm that he has an idea of the set-up, citing the floating stage from his last tour wouldn’t be making an appearance on his next stint.

Listen: ZHU – ‘Came For The Low’ (ft. partywithray)

ZHU returns to the dancefloor with ‘Came For The Low’, a four-to-the-floor club record with the flair and his own vocals that fans have grown to love. Fused with a catchy vocal hook and an addictive low bassline, this record will have you coming back to it time and time again.

Operating with a cryptic Area 51 narrative from the artwork, official music video and the merchandise, the campaign’s theme of government transparency yet with a playful nod to the Area 51 raid that took over the news just a few weeks back, continues to fuel the mysterious nature of all things ZHU.
