R&B-Soul singer Hamzaa, who has previously collaborated with New Machine, has followed her ‘Stranded Love’ debut with her new single ‘You’.
Embracing a nostalgic and light-take on lost love, the song combines the 19-year-old’s lush vocals alongside a dreamy soundscape; accompanying visuals show Hamzaa reflecting on the past all caught-up in a love bubble.

Despite initial reports saying the ceremony would be an intimate affair, the funeral for soul queen Aretha Franklin will now be live-streamed globally, alongside broadcast on television in the US.
According to reports from The Detroit Free Press, US stations Fox News and CNN will televise parts of the ceremony, whilst the Associated Press will live-stream online. Icons including Chaka Khan and Stevie Wonder will perform tributes to Franklin’s life during the ceremony. Jennifer Hudson, Faith Hill and Yolanda Adams will also take part, whilst speakers will include former US President Bill Clinton, Smokey Robinson, Jesse Jackson and Clive Davis. Franklin’s funeral will take place this coming Friday, 31st August from 10am ET.
Ed Sheeran has unveiled his anticipated new ‘Songwriter’ documentary, following its initial teaser last month.
Directed by Murray Cummings, the intimate movie takes a behind-the-scenes look at the past few years of the singer’s life, including glimpses of working from tour buses, recording studios and a home hidden in the Malibu Hills. The 90-minute movie, exclusive to Apple Music, also features appearances from the likes of Benny Blanco, Julia Michaels and Ryan Tedder, all who helped shape his hugely-successful 2017 record, ‘÷’.

Gorgon City have shared the video for ‘One Last Song’, their recent collaboration with JP Cooper and Yungen.
Lifted off the duo’s new album ‘Escape’, which landed earlier this month, the track’s visual comes ahead of new remixes from Eli Brown, Prismo, and a Terrace Dub from Gorgon City themselves, all expected to drop imminently.

Kölsch and Tiga have followed their early-summer collaborative effort ‘HAL‘ with new songs ‘First Blood’ & ‘Still So High’, both joining the former to complete their new 3-track EP on brand new label IPSO.
“About a year ago I launched my label IPSO”, said Kölsch. “This summer IPSO 002 is coming up, and it’s a collab with none other than Tiga. We spent a couple of great days in my Copenhagen studio, and came up with 3 tracks I’m really proud of. Since the first release, I also started my IPSO night in the legendary Gewölbe Club in Cologne. I’ve had amazing nights there over the last 2 years and now it’s time to expand”.

King Krule has shared his new video for ‘Biscuit Town’, the opening track from his Mercury Prize-nominated album ‘The OOZ’.
Unveiled as the first of a three-part collaboration with WeTransfer, which sees King Krule explore the creative process with each video’s director, the ‘Biscuit Town’ visual sees the South Londoner connect with childhood friends Paraic and Michael Morrissey, better known as the director duo cc. WADE.

If ‘She’ kicked off Kaytranada-esque comparisons, Train’s new one is likely to exemplify this one further – there’s a definite head-nodding groove here, and having Javeon’s silky vocals onboard only serves to highlight the producer’s might at not only creating fine beats, but also selecting some of the best vocals out there. We’re swooning at the thought of an El. Train / Tom Misch collaboration at some point!

Billie Eilish has announced her return to the UK next year to play her biggest headline shows this side of the Atlantic.
Set to kick off on 27th February at Manchester’s O2 Ritz, the 16 year-old breakthrough artist will also perform shows in Glasgow and Manchester, before concluding at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on 4th March.
Releasing her ‘dont smile at me’ EP just over a year back to critical acclaim, 2018 has also seen Eilish amass huge streaming numbers with ‘bitches broken hearts’ alongside the Khalid-featuring ‘lovely. Her recent ‘you should see me in a crown’ was also awarded Annie Mac’s Hottest Record moniker when it premiered back in the summer.

Set to kick off on 8th November in Manchester, the multi-talented DJ/producer will then travel across the UK and Ireland covering shows in Dublin and Leeds. He will then conclude on 17th November in Glasgow, before a headline show at London’s KOKO one day prior.
