Neneh Cherry has followed up last month’s surprise ‘Kong‘ by announcing her new album ‘Broken Politics’.
Set for release on October 19th, Cherry’s follow-up to 2014’s ‘Blank Project’ is a collaborative effort with Four Tet, whilst the announcement comes alongside the release of the album’s second song, ‘Shot Gun Shack’.

Kanye West has uploaded his new song ‘XTCY‘ across all major streaming platforms, following its initial unveiling at the start of the month.
Premiered three weeks back courtesy of US DJ Clark Kent (who was given the green light via Yeezy after the two hung out in the studio together), the song had originally formed part of the ‘Ye’ recording sessions, having appeared on the album’s tracklisting back in May; it was removed from the final project upon its release one month later.

The 1975 have released the video for ‘TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME’, following its initial windowing as an exclusive visual on Spotify.
Released a fortnight on from the song’s initial premiere, ‘TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME’ marks the latest track to be lifted from the group’s forthcoming studio album ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’, set for release in November.

In celebration of what would have been the star’s 60th birthday, Michael Jackson’s estate has enlisted Mark Ronson to craft a new mix of the King of Pop’s extensive discography.
Dubbed the ‘Diamonds Are Invincible’ remix, the 5-minute clip hears Ronson pull together iconic songs spanning the likes of ‘Billie Jean’, ‘Smooth Criminal’, ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ and more.
“It was such an amazing, awe-inspiring and insanely intimidating task to put this together” says Ronson – “..although you’d need hours and hours to fit all of Michael’s classic tunes into one track… I wanted this to feel like being on the dancefloor at a sweaty, wild NYC club getting down to as much MJ as possible in five minutes.”
Ronson also revealed a longer edit was also forthcoming, adding “I can’t wait for you to all hear the extended version coming soon.”

Logic has announced his expected new album ‘Young Sinatra 4’.
Set for release on 28th September, the project follows on from his ‘Bobby Tarantino II’ mixtape which the rapper/producer released back in March; his previous ‘Young Sinatra’ records spanned releases in 2011, ’12 and ’13.
Logic has slowly been keeping his foot on the pulse since the ‘Bobby’ mixtape – last week he released new song ‘The Return‘, and has also appeared on the recent remix of KYLE and Kehlani’s ‘Playinwitme‘.

Ghetts has finally announced further details of his anticipated new album ‘Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament’.
Originally planned for release earlier this year, the project was initially teased with the Stefflon Don-featuring ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ last November, however since then news on the project has been relatively quiet.
Now available to preorder, the record will feature additional appearances from Chip, Kojey Radical, Leah McFall, Wretch 32 and Little Simz.

NAO has teamed up with Cali-based SiR for her new single, ‘Make It Out Alive’.
Premiered by Annie Mac as Radio 1’s latest Hottest Record, the song continues the slew of new music from the young Londoner, who cemented her return with ‘Another Lifetime‘ back in June. Both tracks will appear on the follow-up to NAO’s 2016 debut album ‘For All We Know’, set for release this October. Most-recently NAO also reunited with Mura Masa for the latter’s ‘Complicated‘.

Ariana Grande has announced her first live European show of 2018, with an intimate performance at Camden’s KOKO.
Set to hit the iconic London venue on 4th September, the exclusive show marks the latest wave of Capital FM’s ‘Up Close’ series, and will see Grande deliver a session in support of her new album ‘Sweetener’. Her appearance will also precede her debut entry into Radio 1’s acclaimed Live Lounge which will take place the following day.
