HiFi Sean delivers once again with a classic piece of contemporary soulful songwriting and production, this time with his debut on Defected’s Glitterbox imprint.
Featuring vocals from Inner City-legend Paris Grey, Sean’s new single ‘Lost Without U’ was recorded between Chicago and London, and arranged with entirely live instrumentation against influences spanning Norman Whitfield and Burt Bacharach.

It’s been a long wait, but five months on from their initial tease, it looks like tonight’s the night we’ll be hearing that new Dizzee Rascal and Skepta collab!
Still untitled for the time being, the news was confirmed earlier by Radio 1’s Annie Mac, who previewed an interview with Dizzee off the back of the song being this evening’s ‘Hottest Record’.
Back in June a lo-res version of ‘Money Right’ leaked online, less than two months on from the duo confirming new music was in the pipeline. Could tonight finally be the night we hear it in its full studio glory? Check back at 7.30pm GMT.
Eager fans descended on Camden Town’s iconic KOKO earlier today (4th September) to see Ariana Grande’s first UK performance since last year’s One Love Manchester.
Performing an intimate show as part of Capital FM’s ‘Up Close Presents’ series, Ariana took to the stage to perform songs from her expansive discography, alongside tracks from her recent album, ‘Sweetener’.

Hosted by Mo Gilligan and Beats 1’s Julie Adenuga, 2018’s Rated Awards will see performances from Giggs, Ambush, Kojo Funds, Ray BLK, NOT3S and D Double E, alongside appearances from Big Narstie, Maya Jama and Amelia Dimoldenberg.

Ghetts has shared his new single ‘Black Rose’
Lifted as the next track from his hugely-anticipated new album ‘Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament’, out 14th September, the track hears the MC collaborate with Kojey Radical – Kojey joins a long line of collaborators on the new record, including Stefflon Don Little Simz, Wretch 32 and Suspect.

Eminem has announced ‘Fall’ as the first single from his surprise album ‘Kamikaze‘.
Produced by Mike Will Made It, the track features vocals from Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon (who later disavowed his inclusion on the song after hearing the controversial homophobic slur targeted at Tyler, The Creator). On the song, Eminem points to Tyler “Tyler create nothin’, I see why you called yourself a f***** bitch.” The line is believed to be in response to Tyler following his disappointment with ‘Walk On Water’, the lead single from Eminem’s 2017 LP, ‘Revival’.

Less than a month on from stamping their ground with their gorgeous debut ‘Warped Minds‘ emerging duo ag. have returned, delivering a second dose of minimalistic-futuretronica with ‘All Falls Down’.
There’s definitely a richness with ag.’s production styles – haunting and insular vocals work wonderfully against beats that seem effortless yet thoroughly textured and thought-through.
Give ‘All Falls Down’ a stab below – as we start to simmer away from festival season and into the autumn, ag. could be on the path to provide that soundtrack of moody, chilled-out evenings with an added dose of serenity.

Nile Rodgers and Chic have announced their first ever UK arena tour, as the iconic disco band gear up for the release of their new album ‘It’s About Time‘ later this month.
Set to kick off on 13th December in Glasgow, the tour will then see Rodgers and co travel across to Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff before concluding six days later at London’s O2 Arena.
Upon revealing the news, Nile says “I am delighted to announce our first ever ARENA tour of the UK. Christmas is indeed coming and we are putting together “the” party of the festive season! The entire night will be programmed by me and in addition to all our hits will include my man MistaJam on the wheels of steel and more guests to be announced in the coming weeks. Come to dance!”
