No sooner had the trailer for last year’s documentary aired online, has the live stream of this year’s Made In America festival come available online.

The Philadelphia event, curated by both Budweiser and Jay Z, features Beyoncé, Phoenix, 2 Chainz, Public Enemy, A$AP Rocky, Haim, Empire of the Sun and Deadmau5 in today’s lineup, whilst tomorrow welcomes Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, Solange, AlunaGeorge, the Gaslight Anthem and Macklemore amongst others.

Jay Z’s ‘Made In America’ documentary trailer unveiled

Last year, Jay Z, in partnership with Budweiser, brought some of the finest US urban artists together for a two day festival in Philadelphia, titled Made In America.

Additionally, the event, which featured artists including Kanye West, Janelle Monae, Jill Scott, Santigold, Miike Snow along with Run DMC’s first show in over a decade, was filmed by mega-director Ron Howard as part as a documentary to show American creativity entwined with musical talent.

The documentary, sharing the same Made In America title as the event itself, has now been confirmed to premiere on US TV channel Showtime, on October 11th, making its debut next weekend at the Toronto Film Festival.

To give you a taster (as well as the scope on how epic a festival this actually was), Showtime, along with both Howard and Jay Z, have unveiled an associated trailer. Check it out below:

Just over a week ago, we broke Nile Rodgers’ new collaboration with vocalist Adam Lambert and EDM producer Avicii. Whilst that was an extremely low quality recording of the first live performance, a 15-second preview of the final studio track has surfaced.

In preparation for tomorrow’s first live UK performance since 2011, Lady Gaga has unveiled the preview of a new track Sex Dreams.

The track, taken from her forthcoming album ARTPOP (available to preorder here & below), was previewed as part of her rehearsals for the iTunes Festival, of which Gaga is opening the one-month long festivities.

Fresh from blowing up the circuit with many a PA throughout the summer (as well as his infamous Boiler Room sessions with cohort Benga), British DJ/producer Skream has returned to the new music front with funky release Rollercoaster.

Featuring the tones of new vocalist Sam Frank, Rollercoaster is an up-tempo disco banger, akin to Daft Punk/Nile Rodgers collaborations, and inkeeping with Skream’s trademark remixes of Duke Dumont’s Need U 100% and Rudimental’s Hell Could Freeze.

Timbaland confirms work on new Michael Jackson song ‘Chicago’

Music legend Michael Jackson would have been celebrating his 55th today, and in a piece of news that’s likely to bring smiles to fans’ ears worldwide, mega-producer Timbaland has confirmed he is working on a set of unreleased posthumous material from the pop icon.

In an excuse interview with Revolt TV, Timbaland tells of LA Reid personally asking him to work on the project, of which the first confirmed track Chicago is already ready for release.

Alluding that the sound is ‘current’, Timbaland continues by saying that the tracks have not lost the ‘Michael Jackson-essence’. He ends by saying all the music should be ready by year-end.
