Ellie Goulding took to Fearne Cotton’s first post-maternity show today to perform on Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
As part of the station’s Live Lounge Specials, Goulding opened the month-long event with a live cover of her No 1 track Burn whilst choosing Justin Timberlake’s Mirrors as her ‘Live Lounge Cover’ of choice.

Something Really Bad is, well, really really bad! It follows Dizzee’s unimpressive collaboration with Robbie Williams on Goin Crazy, and unfortunately follows the pop/EDM route that seems to be fairly commonplace now.

In a surprising move (and completely welcomed), Todd Edwards has unveiled his remix to Phoenix’s Entertainment.
Released earlier this year by the French band, Entertainment has already received the remix treatment from Dev Hynes/Blood Orange, along with Mutya Keisha Siobhan.
Edwards seems to have drifted slightly away from his 4/4 roots on this one, but it’s still a pleasing version.

After Brian May confirmed earlier this year that unheard duets between Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury are to be released, the first outcome has surfaced online.
The duo recorded three tracks initially together, There Must Be More To Life Than This, Victory and State of Shock, however artistic differences lead to the tracks being used only for solo purposes (the former included on Mercury’s Mr Bad Guy album, whilst State of Shock appeared on The Jacksons’ Victory LP), however, the duet on There Must Be More To Life Than This has now been unveiled.

In just four years, the British producer, songwriter and creative visionary has experienced an incredible career trajectory. From a tiny shed in Watford to his own state-of-the-art studio in Ealing, Shahid Khan has crafted compositions for everyone from Tinie Tempah, Wiley and Professor Green to Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis and Emeli Sandé. The latter’s debut album Our Version Of Events, largely produced by Naughty, shot to No.1 early last year and is the biggest selling album of 2012 and 2013.
Naughty’s latest single Lifted featuring Emeli Sandé follows the #1 global smash hit La La La – the UK’s biggest selling single by a debut artist this year. Lady Gaga took to the stage at Camden’s Roundhouse venue tonight for the opening evening of this year’s annual iTunes Festival.
Performing to a packed audience, the singer previewed new tracks from her forthcoming anticipated new album ARTPOP (available to preorder here).
As promised on Twitter recently, the US artist kept true to her word and performed only new material, taking to the stage almost 30 minutes late, opening with new track Aura. The set closed with current single Applause.

Last night Beyonce took to the stage to headline the second (of which one can only presume, now annual) ‘Made In America’ festival in Philadelphia. Curated by her husband Jay Z (and in partnership with Budweiser), Beyonce put on a spellbinding performance, as has been expected following her sold-out (and critically acclaimed) Mrs Carter Show World Tour.
