Rudimental announce ‘Toast To Our Differences’ album tracklisting

Rudimental have released the stellar guest-list for their upcoming third studio album, ‘Toast To Our Differences’.

Set for release on 25th January, the long-awaited new record (which was originally scheduled to drop back in September), has already received collaborations from the likes of Anne-Marie and Major Lazer (‘Let Me Live’) and James Arthur (‘Sun Comes Up’). Additional contributions will include Maverick Sabre, Stefflon Don, Rita Ora and Elli Ingram, among others. The four-piece have also confirmed that the project’s next single will be ‘Walk Alone’, which will see vocals from Scottish musician Tom Walker.

Tash Sultana announces Alexandra Palace 2019 show (on Glastonbury weekend)

Tash Sultana has announced her biggest UK show to-date, as she confirms her debut appearance at London’s esteemed Alexandra Palace.

Set to hit the iconic venue on Friday 28th June, the show, which formulates part of her sold-out ‘Flow State World Tour’, aligns firmly with Glastonbury 2019 – as a festival which continually strives to deliver the best of new world music, we’d hedge good money that Tash’s ‘one-person show’ will make it to Worthy Farm.

Those who keep a close eye on the music scene will no-doubt be accustomed to Sultana – the youngster recently became the first artist to sell out three nights at London’s Brixton Academy prior to the release of a debut album (she has since released her ‘Flow State’ project, the follow-up to her hugely-successful ‘Notion’ EP).

No Rome has shared his new video for August’s ‘Narcissist’, lifted off his recent ‘RIP Indo Hisashi’ EP.

Featuring The 1975’s frontman Matty Healy, the release of the visual follows confirmation the Manila-born singer and producer will join The 1975 as one of the support acts on their forthcoming 2019 UK tour.

On making the video, No Rome says “The Narcissist video is a pop piece done in a hyperspace dream world by Matty, Adam Powell, Tobias Rylander & me. Dalmatians are fucking sick and so is dancing in the future. Cry your heart out in 2088** forever x”

Hans Zimmer announces ‘The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration’ UK tour

Hans Zimmer has announced plans to bring his ‘The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration’ tour to the UK next year.

Under the direction of Zimmer’s soundtrack conductor Gavin Greenaway, the legendary composer will bring his spectacular experience to arenas across the country, including a stop at London’s Wembley Arena.

In contrast to the renowned ‘Hans Zimmer Live’ tour, where the sound focused on Zimmer’s band and the electronic sounds of the music, ‘The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration’ will present the composer’s works arranged for a live symphony orchestra for the very first time. Zimmer’s soundtracks have endowed a nearly endless list of blockbuster productions with drama and emotional depth: The Lion King, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Da Vinci Code, The Dark Knight, Inception and Interstellar are just a few of the most famous films he has scored.

The Internet announce March 2019 UK tour

The Internet have announced plans to tour the UK in 2019 in celebration of their recent album, ‘Hive Mind’.

Returning to these shores for the first time since 2017 (bar their Lovebox Festival appearance earlier this year), the band will play four dates next March, opening with a headline show at London’s Brixton Academy on Thursday 21st.

Tickets go onsale this coming Friday (19th October) at 9am, with an exclusive O2 Priority presale kicking off two days prior, on Wednesday. Check their full schedule and ticket info below:

Dave lands first UK No.1 single with ‘Funky Friday’

A week on from its release, London prodigy Dave has scored his first ever UK number one single with his Fredo-featuring ‘Funky Friday’.

After amassing a monstrous 5m+ streams within seven days, Dave’s feat sees him become the first British artist to debut a track on the top spot since Sam Smith took the accolade last year. Ironically, ‘Funky Friday’ replaces Smith’s recent Calvin Harris-collab, ‘Promises’ at No.1.

‘Funky Friday’ marked the first taste of new music from Dave in eight months, earning support from such high-profile fans spanning the likes of Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, Drake and Skepta. It also adds further anticipation to the youngster’s upcoming debut album, due out early next year.

After releasing his sophomore EP ‘Game Over’ at the tail end of 2017, as well as selling out two nights at London’s KOKO in under two minutes and picking up ‘Best Newcomer’ at the MOBO Awards, Dave kicked off the first half of this year with sold-out tours across Australia and the United States as well as picking up a nomination in ‘British Breakthrough Act’ at this year’s Brit Awards; the youngest nominee at this year’s awards and the only nominee in his category yet to release their debut album.

An Amy Winehouse hologram tour is coming in 2019

An Amy Winehouse hologram tour is reportedly set to kick off in the next 12 months, the late singer’s father has confirmed.

Speaking on his Twitter account yesterday, Mitch Winehouse revealed further details of the tour, which will be in the benefit of the Amy Winehouse Foundation. “Our family is delighted to be teaming up with BASE Hologram to continue celebrating the life and work of Amy” he said.

Dates and venues are still unclear at this time, though being the big Glastonbury advocate that Amy was, we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Glastonbury 2019 act as a test-bed for this kind of project. More as we hear it.

Sampha has shared his first new music since last year’s ‘Process’ with his beautiful new ballad, ‘Treasure’.

Featured on the soundtrack for the new Steve Carell movie ‘Beautiful Boy’ (alongside songs from Aphex Twin, Mogwai and Massive Attack), Sampha explains the impact the movie had on him “I wrote ‘Treasure’ after seeing the film for the first time” he said – “Nic and David’s story, and the dynamic between them, really resonated with me on an emotional level and ‘Treasure’ is my response, filtered through the lens of my own experiences. I feel honoured to be asked to contribute something to a film as authentic and important as this.”
