Pink announces 2019 ‘Beautiful Trauma’ UK tour dates

Pink has announced plans to bring her ‘Beautiful Trauma’ World Tour to the UK next summer.

Set to kick off on 20th June in Cardiff, the performer will then travel to Glasgow and Liverpool, before concluding with two shows at London’s Wembley Stadium 10 days later. Her Liverpool stop will also make her one of the first artists to play at Anfield after permission to host music events at the ground was granted last month.

Meanwhile, eagle-eyed Glastonbury fans will no-doubt also see a gap in Pink's schedule for Friday 28th June, so we'd hedge our bets on an appearance at Worthy Farm too.

Check full dates below; tickets go on-sale Tuesday, 23rd August (with a presale on the Monday). Vance Joy, KidCutUp and Bang Bang Romeo will also join Pink as special guests.

Little Mix announce new album ‘LM5’

Little Mix have revealed further details of their anticipated fifth studio album.

Confirmed for release next month, the record has officially been titled ‘LM5’, a name given by fans when speculating the new project.

On updating their official Instagram, Little Mix said of the news – “We couldn’t wait any longer to tell you. We love how you’ve named each of our eras over the years. So we’ve decided to call our next album… #LM5”.

‘LM5’, which was preceded by the Nicki Minaj-featuring ‘Woman Like Me’ will be released on 16th November, with pavailableavialable from this Friday.

The 1975 announce 2019 US tour dates. Is Coachella calling?

Following the release of their new video for ‘Love It If We Made It‘, The 1975 have announced plans to expand their upcoming UK and Ireland tour further afield into the US.

Set to kick off in March (with Pale Waves and No Rome on support, as per the UK shows), The 1975’s US appearances also align nicely with Coachella’s 2019 return the following month. Though unconfirmed at this point, a gap nestled within a fairly manic April across both Coachella weekends does indeed make sense.

The 1975 have shared the video for their recent single, ‘Love It If We Made It’.

Lifted as the third song from their upcoming album ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’, due out next month, the song’s visual makes reference to a multitude of political movements (including #MeToo and Black Lives Matter), whilst clips of Donald Trump, Kanye West, Lil Peep and more also appear.

Little Mix and Nicki Minaj’s ‘Woman Like Me’ hits No.1 in UK midweek charts

‘Woman Like Me’, the lead single from Little Mix’s upcoming fifth studio album, is currently leading the way at No.1 in this week’s Official Single Chart.

Featuring Nicki Minaj, the song has achieved 19,268 sales since its release last Friday – this places it ahead of Calvin Harris and Sam Smith’s ‘Promises’ which currently sits in second place with 18,604 sales. The current No.1 single ‘Funky Friday’ by Dave has slipped to third with 17,626 sales, The Official Charts Company have confirmed.

Elsewhere in the album charts, Jess Glynne has soared to No.1 with her sophomore record ‘Always In Between’ with 19,293 sales, almost double that of the soundtrack to the new Lady Gaga-starring movie ‘A Star Is Born’ (with 9,776 sales).

Mariah Carey announces new album ‘Caution’

Mariah Carey has announced her anticipated follow-up to 2014’s ‘Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse’.

Titled ‘Caution’, the R&B icon announced the new album via her official Twitter account earlier today, in a video which also starred her seven year-old song, Moroccan.

‘Caution’ will land on 16th November and has already been preceded by songs ‘With You‘ and ‘GTFO‘. Check the teaser trailer below:

Solange announces new studio album, and it could be arriving tomorrow!

Solange has announced details of her unexpected new album, her first body of work since 2016’s surprise project ‘A Seat At The Table’.

In an indepth interview with the New York Times, the singer revealed that the project has been finished, with its release “imminent this fall”. However whilst no fixed date was provided, and earlier excerpt from the interview cited “On the eve of her next album….” which gives dubious cues of a release tomorrow (Tuesday 16th October).

Further into the discussion, she reveals more of the record – “There is a lot of jazz at the core,” she tells The NYT, adding “But with electronic and hip-hop drum and bass because I want it to bang and make your trunk rattle.”.
