Mariah Carey has dropped the latest song from her forthcoming album, ‘Caution’, hooking up with Ty Dolla $ign for ‘The Distance’.
Featuring production from Skrillex, Poo Bear and Lido, the song follows ‘With You‘, alongside last month’s buzz track ‘GTFO‘ as the third joint from ‘Caution’, which drops next month.

Sigrid returned to BBC2’s ‘Later… With Jools Holland’ earlier this evening (16th October), performing her explosive new single ‘Sucker Punch’.
Expected as the first single from her anticipated debut album, due for release early next year, ‘Sucker Punch’, alongside ’Strangers’ (which she also performed), marks the Norwegian artist’s first taste of new music since last year’s acclaimed ‘Raw’ EP.

Neneh Cherry has detailed her 2019 tour dates in support of her upcoming album, ‘Broken Politics’.
Kicking off in Leeds on 12th February, Cherry will then travel through to Manchester and Bristol, whilst also stopping at London’s Roundhouse on 14th February. She’ll then head into Europe for more shows, alongside a performance at the Dublin Academy.
‘Broken Politics’ marks Neneh’s first studio record since 2014’s ‘Blank Project’ – her latest collection sees her reunite with Four Tet as executive producer (who also worked on the album’s predecessor).

T.I. has shared his new video for ‘The Weekend’, the latest cut from his recently-released new album, ‘Dime Trap’.
Featuring Young Thug and Swizz Beatz, the visual was produced by The Grand Hustle Films and stars T.I. alongside cameos from YSL Duke and Dave East.
‘Dime Trap’ marked T.I.’s tenth studio album, and alongside the aforementioned, also sees appearances from Anderson .Paak and Teyana Taylor.

Ever since Michelle and Kelly jumped into Beyonce’s Coachella appearance earlier this year, rumours of a more-permanent Destiny’s Child reunion started finding their feet (though in fairness, it seems that another DC3 project has been doing the rounds annually since as far back as we can remember).
HOWEVER, it seems that now there’s actual legitimate reasons for fans to [probably] start getting more excited.
2018 has already seen the release of ‘Everything Is Love‘, the collaborative project between Jay Z and Beyonce, but now there’s further speculation that Bey could well be cooking up something with Kelly Rowland too.
Having laid dormant since August, the official ‘Everything Is Love’ Instagram profile sprung back into life last week. Featuring a countdown, this then led to a lowly image of a rose – now overnight a short clip has emerged with said rose unpeeling, alongside a familiar pair of voices harmonising in the audio. The caption then leads to a new Insta account, ‘Rose IV You’. That page only has one clip (the same wilting rose) and also only follows three other accounts – TIDAL, Kelly and Beyonce. (**UPDATE: The account has now started following Nicki Minaj too.)
Fans also only need to look back at last week’s video that Kelly posted on her own profile, teasing some fire new material, with the caption also containing two roses.

SOAK has shared the video for her new track ‘Everybody Loves You’, the lead single from her upcoming second studio album.
Describing her excellent return to music after a 3-year hiatus, the 22-year old opens up about the emotional song – “‘Everybody Loves You’ is a song about extreme denial” she says. “More specifically about my stubborn ability to convince myself I don’t want something that I do and blind my rational thought process. I suppose in this case, as a way of self-protection (and avoiding vulnerability). The lift at the end of the song (“Everybody wants you, And I do too”) represents the almost comedic/foolish acceptance of my own feelings. A 360 turn of events in which I then so desperately want all that I had rejected and pushed away. A consistent theme of my younger self.”
Alongside the new visual, the 22 year-old has celebrated her new music by announcing a handful of intimate live shows next month, including a headline appearance at London’s Omeara on 29th November. The Cure have added a further show to their recently-revealed 2019 festival tour.
Now confirmed to play Serbia’s EXIT Festival in July, the confirmation follows the recent reveal of shows in Dublin, Italy, Athens and Belgium. UPDATE: The band have now added a further day in Glasgow in August – get tickets here.
Last month, the band confirmed they would be performing at around 20 festivals in 2019 to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Earlier this year, frontman Robert Smith spoke with 6 Music’s Matt Everitt on the prospects of returning to Glastonbury, saying “Yeah, maybe. We haven’t had a happy history with Glastonbury over the years. Although we’ve headlined three times, we’ve never been on the best of terms. I don’t know if they forgive and forget. There are enough other festivals for us to play.”

Following last week’s surprise release of his new single ‘Ottolenghi‘, his new collaboration with Jordan Rakei, Loyle Carner has detailed his return to the live stage with a full-on UK & Ireland tour next spring.
Set to kick off on 27th April in Dublin, Loyle will then travel to the UK, stopping in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Brighton and Bristol. The tour will then conclude with headline show at London’s Roundhouse on 7th May. Tickets go onsale tomorrow (17th October) via Dice.

Eminem became the latest musical guest on US TV’s Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (Monday, 15th October), performing the title-track from the new ‘Venom’ movie. However, instead of delivering the track within the normal studio environment, Em took things that little bit further by appearing atop the Empire State Building. Obviously.
