Daft Punk have confirmed their intention to score their second movie, following their contribution to the soundtrack of 2010’s ‘Tron: Legacy’.
Marking the first taste of new music since their hugely-successful 2013 record ‘Random Access Memories’, the French dance duo will add their style to the soundtrack for Dario Argento’s upcoming movie, ‘Occhiali Neri’.
According to Argento (following an interview with Italy’s La Repubblica), the duo are expected to send him their first efforts soon, with a meet-up between the Robots and Argento planned in Rome for when the global lockdowns subside.
Filming of ‘Occiali Neri’ has been postponed until the autumn due to the Covid-19 outbreak, so it’s likely to be a while until we hear any fruits from Daft Punk’s project.
