Carl Cox has confirmed he’ll be returning to Glastonbury for 2020 as part of the Festival’s 50th anniversary.
Revealing the news to DJ Mag after winning the Highest Techno gong in the publication’s annual Top 100 list, the legendary DJ/producer confirmed his 2020 tour intentions with a host of festival and live shows, saying “We’ve got 50 years of Glastonbury coming up – I’m looking forward to be playing that, something that will be a landmark of Glastonbury musical history”.
Cox has become a regular fixture at Worthy Farm over the years, recently taking to Arcadia’s new Pangea setup in summer 2019; the DJ becomes now the third big-scale act confirmed for 2020 after announcements from Wolf Alice and Diana Ross.
