Over the past couple of years or so, Brasstracks have managed to carve a solid fanbase thanks to their interesting spin on future sounds. Self-dubbed ‘future brass’, the NYC-based duo (Ivan and Conor) can firmly count Chance The Rapper among the high-calibre support – their work on Chance’s Coloring Book is something many would dream, and now, after last year’s Good Love EP, the lads have turned their attention to another new project, Those Who Know.
Announcing the title-track today, the boys are staying tight-lipped on what’s to come from their new music, but this song itself stands out from the rest of Brasstracks’ repertoire, primarily as Ivan’s vocals are taking a starring role. Those Who Know is cited as a two-parter, so who knows what’s around the corner, but in the meantime, feast your ears on the joint below.
