Hear Frank Ocean’s ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ live-stream instrumentals

It’s been four years since Frank Ocean dropped his acclaimed Channel Orange debut, and over 12 months since he promised the follow-up, tentatively-titled Boys Don’t Cry. However since last years’ announcement, news on the project has been pretty scarce, until earlier this week that is.

On Monday, Frank dropped a mysterious live stream on his Boys Don’t Cry website, a content piece that sent the web into overdrive with expectations the album would be soon-coming. What’s more, later that evening, rumours started to circulate that the full record would indeed drop tomorrow (Friday 5th August), alongside a free printed booklet circulated around Apple Stores the world-over.

During the live stream, a selection of instrumentals were heard sporadically in the background, and now, thanks to the power of genius hackers, those soundbites have hit the web.
