Frank Ocean has teamed up with Apple Music for a mysterious live stream, heavily-thought to coincide with the release of his long-awaited new album Boys Don’t Cry.
Fans of the singer, whose last full-length studio outing was 2012’s Channel Orange, had been anticipating a July release of the new album following previous teasers on Frank’s website, however after all hope seemed lost, the mysterious aforementioned stream appeared.
You can watch the stream either below or on Frank’s official website (FYI, you currently need to be using the Safari web browser for either); we’re not sure the context of the video but a bit of ‘investigative journalism’ shows a potential new song title, Champaign, in the source code. It could be nothing, mind.
UPDATE 10:47 GMT: Francis Soriano actually directed the video for Frank’s Lost back in 2013 (though the visual is hard to come by nowadays)
UPDATE 10:44 GMT: It looks like the video is actually a looping art project by Francis Soriano in a quickly-deleted Instagram post (take a look at the address in the screengrab below too)
