Counting credits alongside the likes of Plan B, Maverick Sabre and Kwabs within his discography, 2016 may well be the year for New Machine to jump over the radar as an all-encompassing musician himself, and today he preps for a glistening career with his debut single Dare 4 U.
The smooth joint, which hears the prolific producer (aka Adam Jordan) team up with Aaron London, delivers sonics that could equal a UK-mirror of Kaytranada – glitchy, warm, funky and enticing. Speaking with Fader who premiered the cut, New Machine says “[Dare 4 U means] the world to me. It was very important to me to try and push some sound boundaries I had not touched on before venturing into the commercial world…. It’s the first video I ever shot, directed, and edited and I’m so pleased with the outcome. I shot it on my iPhone 6 in my bedroom. I give it up to Aaron for having the patience to make this with me.”
