Father, the CEO (and founder) of US indie label Awful Records has shared his surprise refix of Mya’s 15 year-old jam, Best Of Me.
Flipping the original on its head entirely, Father turns the joint into an ethereal, lo-fi cut – doing away with the track’s synonymous early-2000s R&B grooves into something more favourable to the artist’s own woozy sound.
