Last year’s Amy Winehouse documentary will receive its full UK televised airing later this week, creators have confirmed.
Set to air this coming Friday (8th January), AMY visualises the final years of the singer as she looks to overcome her substance abuse issues, prior to her untimely death at the age of 27.
Following its release last summer, AMY became the highest-grossing British documentary of all time, turning over £3m at the box office in tis first weekend. To-date, the movie has won 22 film awards, whilst also receiving a nod at this month’s Grammy Awards too.
AMY will premiere at 9pm on Channel 4 in the UK; check the preview below:
