Radio 1’s Essential Mix has had one meaty year, however our absolute highlight has been thanks to DJ EZ, the UKG supremo who’s never looked back since he started heralding UKG in the late-90s.
“You may know me from the world of UK garage music”, said EZ, adding “During my time on this incredible journey I was chosen to mix the biggest garage compilation to date called Pure Garage, played to some of the best crowds in some fantastic venues across the world and without doubt another accolade is to bring you this two hour mix on Radio 1’s Essential Mix!”.
