Even if you say you’ve never heard of Sinead Harnett, there’s a high chance you’ve definitely caught at least one joint featuring her gorgeous vocals.
Initially throw into our ears thanks to a guest spot on Disclosure’s Boiling, Sinead’s been part of the ‘new breed’ of British music ever since. From additional hook-ups with the likes of Snakehips, Ryan Hemsworth and Rudimental, the past 18-months (or so) have heard the young North Londoner come into her own thanks to two spellbinding EPs (No Other Way and most recently, She Ain’t Me), whilst the attentions are now turning to that all-important full-length debut project (which we’re hopeful for at some point over the next year).
What’s more, it seems that the rest of the industry are also repping Harnett in a massive way. She supported Jessie J at Somerset House earlier in the year, whilst 1Xtra’s Mistajam has always given her props where it’s been due. Additionally, and probably more important than anything, not only does Sinead know how to make some proper head-nodders, she can also belt out a jam or two!
