Rihanna announces 2016 ANTI World Tour

Ahead of the [rumoured] release of her anticipated eighth studio album ANTI this coming Friday (27th November), Rihanna has announced her ANTI World Tour.

Dates are still to be revealed (the singer has only just shared the news on Twitter), however alongside the announcement of the tour, Rihanna has also confirmed who will be supporting her throughout the shows.

Sponsored by Samsung (there’s heavy rumours ANTI will be bundled with an exclusive to Samsung owners in its initial release), the ANTI World Tour will see support from Travis Scott for the US dates; meanwhile The Weeknd and Big Sean will join RiRi for her European shows.

Currently Ticketmaster UK seem to be remaining quiet on that front (their own page, here, shows no shows as of yet), however the full UK schedule has now been announced (below), including a gig at Wembley Stadium! There’s also a ‘Glastonbury-sided gap’ in the midst too.

ANTI will mark Rihanna’s first new full-length release since 2012’s Unapologetic, and is likely to be a TIDAL-exclusive for a week, before hitting the rest of the world (iTunes/Spotify) from 4th December.

More as we hear it; in the meantime, tickets for the ANTI World Tour go onsale on 3rd December; check the full schedule below:

June 14 – Coventry, United Kingdom @ Ricoh Arena
June 16 – Cardiff, United Kingdom @ Cardiff Stadium
June 18 – Sunderland, United Kingdom @ Stadium Of Light
June 21 – Dublin, Ireland @ Aviva Stadium
June 24 – London, United Kingdom @ Wembley Stadium
June 27 – Glasgow, United Kingdom @ Hampden Park
June 29 – Manchester, United Kingdom @ Emirates Old Park
