Video: John Lewis – ‘On The Moon’ (Christmas 2015 TV Advert)

Following yesterday’s leak regarding the singer (and song) in question, John Lewis’ anticipated 2015 Christmas TV ad has now arrived, and it’s a big un!

Soundtracked by relative-newcomer Aurora, the department store has opted to follow Tom Odell’s cover of The Beatles’ Real Love with a new rendition of Oasis’ Half The World Away, whilst the visual itself tells the story of a young girl who spies the ‘man on the moon’. Attempting to then send a gift to the outworldly figure, the spot was created in partnership with Age UK to heighten awareness of elderly people having to face the holiday season alone.
