On Friday, Alex Metric released his Ammunition 4 EP, a project that’s been in-demand for a good few months, and further showcases the producer’s broad range when it comes to making club-influenced beats.
The first track from the project, Drum Machine, was unveiled a while back, however it’s the collection’s second cut which absolutely does it for us. Anticipated for a while now after falling into Alex’s live sets across the year, the sprightly Always There is a hidden gem, potentially awaiting that ‘House Track of The Year’ nomination. There’s an aura of ‘calming urgency’ to this one – enchanting disco-house that’s so infectious and full of funk, that you’ll be hunting for that replay button at the 6-minute mark.
