**Update 8/9/15: Sam Smith has confirmed the news. The new Spectre theme will be titled ‘Writing’s On The Wall’. More follows:
Last week, Sam Smith vehemently denied his appearance on the theme song for upcoming James Bond movie Spectre – “That’s not me. That’s definitely not me. I’ve still got loads to do” said the star, however a mysterious tweet today may well put him back in line with the flick.
For months, bookmakers have been in a frenzy regarding who will follow Adele to provide Spectre‘s lead song, and now it looks like the cat may well be out the bag.
Moments ago, Smith tweeted a picture of a ring with what looks seemingly like the Spectra logo – with himself, Ellie Goulding and Ed Sheeran all front-runners, it could be that Sam is back on the line with what could undoubtedly be the biggest moment yet in his stratospheric career.
