Hot on the heels of what’s set to be a strong charting position later on this evening for Shutdown, Skepta has confirmed his upcoming studio album Konnichiwa will also receive a vinyl release.
The record, which is yet to receive an official release-date (though cited for this year), will appear on vinyl, alongside other formats, with Skepta confirming the news during a recent stint with Brighton’s The Great Escape (where the grime MC will join his brother JME, alongside the likes of Stormzy, Ghetts and more in just under a fortnight).
The Great Escape recently took Skepta record shopping to discuss his thoughts on vinyl and the come back of the popular music format, with Skepta reminiscing about the strength of the record as a piece of musical history.
