Following huge anticipation, Jamie xx has announced his debut album, In Colour.
Set for release in June (off our favourite Young Turks imprint), the collection will see the producer’s previous cuts Girl and Sleep Sound amongst the tracklisting, alongside the record’s lead single, the just-announced Loud Places.
Unveiled on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show moments ago, Loud Places hears The xx-bandmate Romy Madley Croft on vocals – clearly a match-made-in-heaven (seemingly like The xx were still impeccably-current); while the track itself is absolutely-ripe for the impending festival season.
Take a listen to Loud Places below; Jamie xx’s festival diary has yet to be confirmed, however expect announcements soon.
