As he gears up for the impending release of his second High Flying Birds LP Chasing Yesterday, Noel Gallagher has confirmed plans to release a new remix EP.
Speaking to Q Magazine last week, the ex-Oasis frontman said that British producer Andy Weatherall has already completed one remix, whilst also confirming that “Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve have done something and I’m speaking to Massive Attack. There are a few things going on. There might be a remix EP coming out sooner or later.”
Rudimental have also expressed their desire to collaborate with Gallagher, which surprised the guitarist. In the same interview, Gallagher replied “Really? That’s amazing! I’m flattered they’ve even heard of me. Well give them my office number.”
Chasing Yesterday, the follow-up to Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ self-titled debut, is set for release on 2nd March – hit the iTunes link for the preorder. Meanwhile, Rudimental recently unveiled their new album’s buzz-track, Bloodstream, a collaboration with Ed Sheeran. Stream the song below in full:
