Last year, Justin Martin dropped his beautiful remix of Henry Krinkle’s Stay – an edit that’s still on rotation in our offices almost twelve months on… yesterday, Krinkle debuted his equally-impressive new remix of Ella Henderson’s upcoming single, Mirror Man.
Taking a different twist to Alex Adair’s effort back at the start of February, Krinkle throws everything into his Mirror Man reimagination; speeding things up slightly from the track’s original, with greater emphasis being placed on both Ella’s vocals alongside some stunning percussion. A completely wonderful edit, that not only acts as an additional showcase for Krinkle’s abilities, but also highlights the amount of trust they’re placing in Henderson toward the more ‘credible’ audiences thanks to her multitude of remix offerings (remember Oliver Nelson’s edit of Ghost way back last year?).
Stream below in full; Mirror Man lands on iTunes on 8th March and is lifted from Ella Henderson’s debut record, Chapter One.
