New music: Sigma ft Labrinth – ‘Higher’ (Grades remix)

As the PR trail starts to churn in full steam for the track’s release, so do the remixes of Sigma and Labrinth’s new collaboration, Higher.

Taking from their forthcoming debut album Life, Sigma have already unveiled their own revisioning of the track (thanks to yesterday’s VIP Remix); today now marks the turn of Grades, the young Brit who’s already shaping up to be one of the most important UK producers thanks to his inventive spin on future-house offshoots.

Grades’ Higher remix continues where Sigma left off, and takes a slightly differing twist to the producer’s last effort on Twin Shadow’s Turn Me Up last week, sharing elements of deep mechanical electronica that throws the pop/house track onto a completely different level. This is one for the big clubs!
