The underground success of their self-titled EP last year may well have been a key cog to their appearance on the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack (with One Last Night), however Vaults clearly know how to make another artist’s song their own, and no example fits stronger than the trio’s take on Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do.
Also lifted from the Fifty Shades… collection, Vaults’ imaginative take on Goulding’s original hears the mid-tempo anthem twist into an hypnotic and haunting affair – a lo-fi attempt that’s as opulent as it is grandeur. Put simply, this’ll throw you into a land you may (or may not) want to appear in – definitely one for the nights-in, with the candles shimmering.
