Idina Menzel and John Legend led the proceedings at the pre-kick-off show for this evening’s Super Bowl earlier today (1st February), with Menzel performing the US National Anthem and Legend bringing down the house with a stunning rendition of America The Beautiful. Once can never fault John Legend – he makes even the most difficult of songs seem effortless; Menzel however… well we’ll let you decide on that one (we felt it was fairly awkward, and we’re certain you can hear some booing from the crowd).
